There's a Wolf in that Tree

Unread post by Phyress »

Today, like everyday for the past week, I was doing the argent tournament dailies on my paladin, so I could get the Argent Hippogryph. I was in no rush, taking my time doing dailies and getting my daily battleground out of the way. My final daily was "Breakfast of Champions," where you have to get Jormungar eggs. I finished that and while flying back to the tournament grounds, something told me to check Skoll's spawn point since it was on the way. Upon reaching the spawn point, my thoughts were something like this:

"There's some big worms here, a few elementals, a shiny, blue wolf in a tree, and more worms. There are a lot of worms here today... WAIT, WHAT, A SHINY BLUE WOLF IN A TREE!"

Skoll was up just chilling in a tree. I quickly landed, switched to my holy spec, put my holy gear on, and auto attacked him, all while thinking of what zone I wanted to check for an 80+ hunter in first. That's when I remembered, my brother really wanted a spirit beast, but he was at school at the time.

I pulled Skoll away from his spawn point, quickly ran to my brother's room, and grabbed his authenticator. I opened up a second WoW on my computer and logged onto his hunter, who happened to be logged in Un'goro allllllll the way up at the sky's ceiling. After flying him down to the ground (which took a few minutes), I hearthed him, jumped onto the zeppelin to Borean Tundra, stabled his cat, and took a taxi to K3.

While on the taxi, I switched back to my pally to check on Skoll and heal myself, right as a 79 death knight landed and began to kill him. I told him to stop attacking and that my brother was on the way to tame Skoll. Luckly, he stopped and flew away.

I finally got my brother's hunter to Skoll's spawn point and ran my pally away so Skoll would reset. As Skoll was running back, my brother's hunter aggroed a worm. I hit 3 to feign, but instead used raptor stike. I began talking to myself, "OH GOD, FEIGN IS 3 ON MY HUNTER, WHERE IS HIS FEIGN? Oh, its 0, okay found it."

Finally, with the worm gone, Skoll was reset and I quickly tamed him. I can't wait to tell my brother to get on his hunter, for a suprise, when he gets home from school. :D

*dies* Oh I wish you would have taken a screenie of him it the tree. That title alone, plus your story had me choking on my soda I was laughing so hard.

And I keep doing this!

I have three hunters, and I played my 85 the longest. Gypsí is on a vacation until my friend returns to the game to work on leveling her druid with Gyp. I've started leveling Kitsuné-and I keep freaking out because she doesn't have all the attacks and skills I'm used to-so I keep hitting a button thinking it is the same as on my 85. I was ruining kill shot-and thus her dps-until I realized what the problem was earlier today.

Skoll in a tree, that would of been a site to see for sure. To bad you didn't get a screenshot of it.
I believe if you can believe out of nothing an explosion (big bang) happened then how far fetched can god be?
