I really hate it when people get this mount and want to sell it from nothing but pure greed. Instead of thinking about all that lovely shiny gold you could have, how about make a friend or guildy happy? Or even yourself? Just a thought.

Very quick to jump to conclusions i see, No i didn't sell it for me sold it for 72500g then bought my friend tsukuyomi a vial of the sands and gave the remaining amount to my guild.

Honestly, I don't understand why you critizise him for selling the mount. He killed the mob, looted the mount, and it's entirely, 100% his to do with as he wishes. If I found Poseidus, I'd be tempted to sell the mount so that I could better afford gear for my army of alts as they get to 85. There's absolutely no harm in that.

The issue with it being BoE to me is mainly what Acherontia pointed out... that it attracts bots.

The only thing I found odd was that xcturnus decided to sell it on these boards, where most people don't seem to want to buy stuff like that. Not the best forum for it, I find.

but why not just sell it on the ah rather than post about selling it on here where theres so many people looking for it and are irritated about those who sell it rather than give it or keep it

It is a public forum, there is nothing wrong with what they did. Saying it isn't right because people want it very badly is silly because it's the same thing as making a post about a rare pet that was just tamed- many more people on this forum are sad about rare pets who are being tamed/killed by other people daily. Once they looted it, it became their property to do with what they want. Maybe they would have made someone's day because they couldn't put the time to camp in but had extra gold lying around. This site attracts not only Hunters camping rare pets, but recently also mount hunters. I think the mount could have found an owner who wanted it very badly as opposed to someone just doing a routine browse of the AH who was sitting on a lot of gold, saw it, and said 'Hey, what is this mount? I'll just get it because I can.'

About selling the mount.. pfft i personally wouldn't do it because i really want that mount but i can understand ones view of preferring 200K ro buy other mounts like *vial of the sands or that tgc card BoE mount which i've seen recently on ah for 200k* ther's no good or bad side with selling it

Either way it is all a matter of opinion; the topics discussed are fine for some, questionable to others. I don't think people should get bent out of shape over posts like this because it isn't really wrong- every post regarding mounts and pets could upset someone in one way or another I'm sure. I know it eats people alive to see post after post of people getting the mount they've been looking for, or the pet they've been camping for over a year, when they are still in game camping/farming diligently. I want to find the mount even though I have it, to either give to the friend who lent me money for my Crimson Deathcharger, or sell it to pay him back. What is acceptable to one person might not be in another person's eyes.
