Winged Guardian Mount Now In Blizzard Store!

I realy dont care if everyone in the game is gonna have the mount. I´m extremely happy that I´ve finaly got it. <3 The mount looks even better in game, altho the sheer size of it was bigger then I had expected. But the texture is great, and the roar he makes makes me wanna roar aswell. =P

Scratch what I said earlier in the post. My fiance decided to surprise me and sent it was a gift. :3 <3 It looks amazing, although I do still like the original TRH. So many good memories from Ulduar.

His model is so amazingly well done. It isn't based off of any existing skeleton, although it is reminiscent of the gryphon and saber cats. It has it's own idle animation where it scouts out what is on the ground when in the air flying, and the animation similar to the sabercat left and right scouting, but it doesn't open it's mouth like them. I stared at the thing for like an hour admiring it, very well done, worthy of the money. They should have done the same for the Pegasus mounts, they too deserve a skeleton that fits the model, but I'm just glad this mount was done right, from the ground up. I think his wings look perfect, although odd if you compare it to real wings in birds and such. I love the way the decided to do it, shows the wings are large enough to support the weight of a Lion, and are jointed in a creative way. His run animation is smooth, as is his flight animation. He is detailed in animation like the Hippogryph, idle animations that are so awesome that you just want to watch him instead of doing stuff in game lol. I really want to give Blizz the kudos thumbs up on the great job they did on this guy- he is one of my favorite mounts, and that is saying a lot considering the mounts that I own. So Blizz, if any of you read this- THANK YOU!

Got mine as a birthday present from a friend I was so excited, he wouldn't tell me what it was he just told me to log into my account and check my mail. I was so happy when I opened it and it said "winged guardian". Lovely looking mount and I must say of all my alts, I think he fits really well with a worgen!

I wasn't too impressed until I saw the animations. Goodness gracious this is a wonderfully animated mount, right on par with the hippogryph imo. So much life in the movements, I suppose. I really, really want one but I have so much to save for. xD
