It might be for the best that you didn't tame him, as you'd probably only be upset that he was nerfed afterwards.

*sigh* i remember when i saw a hunter with a Worgen pet... another case where blizz takes out a really awesome part of hunter fun. Just like they made the Hive Queen no longer tamable ( which i still dont know why)

I can understand them on the Worgen nerf. Since they were an upcoming playable race, it would seem....unethical? Haha, something like that for a Hunter to have one as a pet.

Rawrs, i understands... but me being stubborn .. i say they are Worgen that are extremely feral and posse no communication skills outside of howls and barks and are similar to the first lycans from the film "Underworld" rise of the lycans"

Kinda off topic, but I want to tame a druid. Sometimes I try, just to see...you never know...you CAN cast beast lore on them, so maybe I'll find a glitchy druid....BWA-HA-HA

But, there is a way to sort of experience what the Worgen pet was like. Go out to Bloodmoon Isle off of Grizzly Hills and kill Worgen until your pet gets infected with the disease that turns it into a Worgen. It's fun while it lasts!

They were amazing to have, while it lasted. People say they wished they could have them, but the heart-break from losing them almost wasn't worth it.

And on the ethical note.... BAH! Blizzard has a whole unethical class in Wow! Warlocks enslave demons all the time, and they are more sentient then the current Worgen running around, especially the old-world ones. And no, I don't think enslaving them is alright just because they are demons. ;P
Also, Worgen are the only humanoids that can be skinned. Hows that ethical? XD

And skinning dragonkin...if dragons are so sentient they can't be tamed, why are we skinning them? And the more anthropomorphic dragonkin that carry weapons and have armor...I'm pretty sure those are intelligent. Why are they skinnable? Not that I mind. I love it that they are. Money drops, leather and scales, all from the same mob! But, Blizz is not exactly consistent with ethics.

Don't forget you can also skin yetis. I should know, I've gotten enough heavy leather from those hairy things out in Hillsbrad.

The worgen probably would have lasted longer if mmo champ hadn't blabbed about it. I swear more developers watch that then the blizzard forums.

"Raznos" is what you get saying "Friend" to alliance. My friends went to hell & back to get me this pet and then they turned him into a Winterskorn Worg.

I was going to keep him anyway but even the NPC ID was changed. (You can check that by viewing the Source Code on a hunter's Talents/Glyphs Armory page and scrolling to the pet in question). I took him back to Garwal's spawnpoint and bade him a tearful farewell

That would make a cool pet and looks awesome They definitely should allow us to tame them, Those Screen shots make me want to have one gutted I missed out
