So I was passing through Storm Peaks just now and I come across Skoll. I didn't want to see this beautiful spirit beast go to waste, so I did a /who check and I saw one other hunter in the area on Horde side. So I sent him a whisper 'Would you like to tame Skoll?'. He quickly replied with a 'Yes please!' and flew over to where I was to tame him. He seemed so happy and told me that it was the last spirit beast he needed.

Most people would've just sent a quick emote /thanks or something, but this guy actually named his Skoll 'Kuraine', after my character.

I'm not sure why I'm so chuffed about this but I really am. xD It's such a nice thing to do. I love that hunter.

aww! Someone did that to me on my server as well. He named his Loque anurD (druna spelled backwards), it's kinda my nickname on my server lol. I helped the guy search for him for about 5 days when i finally found him and summoned him over. He was so happy. but you had a random person name his after you, I'd be super proud!

Aww, that's sweet of him! I should start whispering people when I find a rare tame in Outland or Northrend from here on in. That is, if I don't need the achievement (Frostbitten or Medium Rare) first.

I just like to make sure that beautiful rare beasts like Skoll get to go to a good home, rather than being slaughtered for no good reason.

Skoll, Gondria and Arcturis aren't needed for the achievement, unlike poor Loque'nahak. I've completed the Frostbitten achievement myself and bringing myself to killing Loque'nahak, King Krush and Aotona was hard.

No doubt! I got Aotona this week for the achieve, and I felt horrid about it. Killing such a beauty hurt. King Krush and Loque probably not so much, but it'll sting, for sure.

No doubt! I got Aotona this week for the achieve, and I felt horrid about it. Killing such a beauty hurt. King Krush and Loque probably not so much, but it'll sting, for sure.

I've actually killed Loque twice now. Once for my own achievement, a second time because there was no hunters around at all to come and tame him and my boyfriend also eventually wants to get the Frostbitten achievement. So as he flew close enough, I shot Loque, looted him and skinned him quickly, so that no hunter would ever know...
