A FoS is a little iffy to begin with, I think, since these sorts of things apparently matter a lot to people and you know regardless of achievement points or not there would be a cry about hunter bias. There's also the issue of more traffic in those areas due to hunters camping for the Feats, since the main focus seems to be on 'You must tame <shiny super special rare here> and get a Feat for it' when we know very well how many people go nuts camping the same things to keep every day. And even then, if you're going to give Feats to hunters I think they should be things that can be tamed 'round all three trees. I know most of us either play BM or have an off-spec for it, but that isn't true for everyone and while I won't use 'forced' in this situation it does feel like there'd be a pressure to play(or spec) BM just to tame these pets.

Then again, to a lot of people the pets themselves are bragging rights, if the massive amount of rare collectors we have here counts for anything. :P

Its iffy I'm still arguing for account wide acheivements or atleast realm wide and the adding of class specific achievements that way as well as prof achievements

The only problem with that is the other classes would certainly ask for their own Achieves/FoS, altogether costing Blizzard a whole lot of time if they even considered it.

Only problem with this is it would FORCE people to tame these guys....and that's not fair.

that said, if there are hunter achievements, I WANT PALADIN ACHIEVEMENTS. i don't have almost 12k points for nothing! >_>

/Punt: Use a Rhino's Horn Toss ability to knock back 20 enemy players.

Back in My Day, We Didn't Have Bloodlust: Slay any Cataclysm Heroic Dungeon boss while your group is under the effects of a Core Hound's Ancient Hysteria.
Archelon: Have a pet Turtle under the effects of Bestial Wrath and Shell Shield at the same time.

Paladins and Warlocks actually have their own FoSs for their mount quests (before they got taken out), so a class-specific FoS would not be without precedent.

I don't see them putting them in for pets, but for Rhokdelar and Benediction... yeah, I could see it.

Tame It With Fire!: Tame Shango (this is a terrible reference to Shere Khan, so bad that I concede the need to explain it)

Given that there seem to be some people out in the wild world of Warcraft who take particular delight in killing sought-after rares as they are being tamed specifically to ruin a hunter's day...I'd really prefer not to give them the additional jolly of denying someone an achievement while killing the pet they fell in love with, camped, and badly wanted to tame.

So I'm gonna have to vote "no" on taming-related achievements of any flavor, feat of strength or otherwise. We really don't need any more "help" (read, interference) when we're in the act of trying to tame a rare pet.

i think the ones that deal with like pet abilities would be agreat idea, tamin wise/ownership wise, not so much.

maybe even ones that are kinda like, wolf pack: owns like 3 or more wolves, something like that, something that doesnt really say " go get this pet just for the achiv" i mean like to get the wolf one, it wouldnt matter if they are rare or not, so that there is no compitition for getting rares just for the achiv.

i do love the pet ability ones suggested. maybe even one for disarming players like " What Weapon? : disarm 20 players with a bird of prey" or something like that

just my 2 cents.

i could think of some for other classes as well, doubt they would ever do it but would be fun to have class f.o.s. could do one like " bubbles for everyone: bubble x amount of players in pvp or pve While in combat. could go for both priests and pallys..

I´m not sure about the pets but...how about a hunter class mount you have to tame! It could still have some of those taming twists that the new rares will have, ans when you´ve "tamed" it you can use it as a mount, and get a feast of strenght. o/

I think getting a mount in-game should be like this for everyone. Should just be able to buy them IMO
