Level cap issues

Level cap issues
So if I have Burning Crusades and my level cap is only 70 I won't be able to tame anything hire then that correct? Or do the new patches let me level higher then 70 even if I have not purchased WOTLK or Cataclysm?

You have to have the expansion to gain any more levels.
