Your Valor are converted to Justice at a 1 to 1 Conversion. Conquest to honor will work the same way.

I highly doubt it'll be either. More like in a month or so. There's still a lot of testing.

The max will be 4k, Tårnfalk, but if you have 3k of each you'll have 6k JP after the patch (at least that's how it is right now) -- you won't be able to accumulate more JP until you're below the cap again but you won't "lose" your points per se.

I don't expect it for atleast a month. They usually go for like 4 months on PTR I believe. Maybe less, I never keep track.

Basically you want to be sure to spend your VP/JP before 4.2 hits in such a way that you don't lose any points.

If you have more than a total of 4k of justice + valor points you are rewarded a massive amount of 47 silver pieces per extra point.

The Valor Point to Justice Point conversion shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. In the past, every time they've added a new tier of gear, they had a new badge currency to go with it. For example, when Icecrown Citadel came out, they added Frost Emblems and you couldn't use the previous emblems (Triumph Emblems and older) to buy the newest stuff.

When they switched over to the Valor and Justice system, they made it clear from the start that whenever they added a new tier of gear, the previous tier would be moved from the Valor Vendors to the Justice Vendors, and that any Valor Points characters had left over would be converted to Justice Points when the next tier went live so that people couldn't stockpile Valor Points and get the newest stuff on the first day it went live.

In short, it isn't any different now gearing up wise other than in the past other than Blizzard having a standardized system in place so they don't have to keep inventing new currencies every tier. The only difference is now you can lose points if you're over the cap when they do the conversion, and the only way Blizz can do more to warn players is send in-game mails to all characters warning them when the conversion is near and to spend it if they don't wanna lose it.

Here's some ideas....

If you have extra Valor and no more gear to buy, sell the Valor boots.

If you have extra Justice points, buy heirloom gear, pvp mounts, or pvp gear.

If you have conquest, buy gear, if honor, buy the mounts or gear.
