Karkin looks a LOT better in the Molten Front than he looked in Mount Hyjal. Something very sexy about those Molten Front filters.

okay first of all is the hyjal cub a permanent companion? and where the heck to get the crab and cat, those guys look badass!

The Hyjal Cub is a regular minipet (that's a pet biscuit on him) that you get after doing enough quests in the Front.
