I know since the Armory has a pet page now, "post your stable" threads are kind of obsolete. Still, putting up the thumbnails brings to life any theme you may have going, and it's a faster overall glance than scrolling through 25 individual pet slots.

So, post your stable! Feel free to throw in your pets' names, the theme you're going for, or any other info you want to add. I love this sort of thing. ;]
As for me, I've started going for a more blood elf centric theme, full of reds and yellows and golds. I'm also trying to incorporate more Outlands models.

My stables have gone through some severe revamps recently, as I deleted half of my hunters (only lowbie ones though), and left the seven I most enjoy. Hence, I could no longer cater to pet themes as strictly as I used to, since I needed to fit all the pets I wanted into seven stables. This will need to be in two parts.

However, let's see what it all looks like.

My stables are shifting around quite a bit at the moment, but I'll post them soon. At the moment, though, I just need to comment on Mozag's stable. I was reading through all the morbid, pain related names when I came across Kalliope randomly tossed in... Made me laugh.

*makes evil clawing motions?* I'll see what I can do about posting mine later on....everything is in flux AGAIN and I may end up with some empty spots because I'm just not feeling some pets...:/

My stables are shifting around quite a bit at the moment, but I'll post them soon. At the moment, though, I just need to comment on Mozag's stable. I was reading through all the morbid, pain related names when I came across Kalliope randomly tossed in... Made me laugh.

Hah, yeah. That spider used to belong to one of my lowbie Dwarves, but once she went bye-bye, I rushed off to tame another spider for Mozag and naturally, I couldn't change her name. Kalliope is the only proper name for a red tarantula in my books!

[Wassa]

Wassa's stable, teal and redish stable theme for the most part to match herself, plus all the tallstriders. I released Gyaa not too long ago. Never used her. That space is open for Ban'thalos now with planned name of Lesedi.


Ptay's planned stable, white theme. I don't have all these pets yet as she is in her mid 50s.

I think my stable is... pretty complete just like this. I love it. I do need to update my signature, though.

The only other pet I'm planning on getting is Kirix for some PvP fun, but I may be too attached to Azazel, to do that. He's pretty much the pet who's permanently attached to Tzzak's side. Mayyybe that new spirit beast owl, because it does fit, but eeeh. He'd see very little use, since if I'm BM, I want to be using Loque if I'm using a spirit beast.

I think I'll just do Rosaliah's (my RP hunter) for now. Her theme is corrupted/harsh beasts whom typically have short, harsh sounding names (with a few exceptions).

Amazingly, all the new rares called for was a swap on two pets I already have. The five who are going are the pets I've never clicked on any level with. Will those slots fill in the future? I'm not sure. It all depends on the future and what lies ahead.

I haven't done a workup for Kallimon yet because his is a little more complicated.

Okay, Rassaa's stable. It's *very* open to change. Any pet listed with a * by its name is rather expendable. A lot of her rares/uniques are going to be dropped for more personalized pets.

I have a geology naming theme, and I have been choosing more earthen colors lately, though I still have a strong preference for green and blue as well.

Doing this has made me realize how many repeated pets I have across my stables. The spirit beasts and the basic black wolf is not going to change, those have special meaning. The Olms were intentional-but I hardly use them so I might abandon two of them somewhere.

I need to study these pages and clear out some pets and go through and find the types of pets I do not have anywhere and get at least one of each species of pet I think-that was the point of having multiple stables.

And yes I am the crazy cat lady, I know.

I also plan on getting the two new SB cats and the black gemstone cat in the next patch, also maybe the gem crab, not sure yet on him.

My stables are nowhere near the 25 limit but they certainly do adhere to specific themes.

Khau's Stable:



Khau's theme is mostly pets that have earth-hued skins including browns, greys, greens, golds, and blacks. Pet names don't follow any specific rules but are predominately no longer 2 to 3 syllables long and usually come from Hawaiian or African origins.



Auroryn's Stable:

Auroryn's theme showcases a preference for dragon-esque or mythical type beasts such as dragonhawks, corehounds, warpstalkers, and windserpents. A few exceptions are made however to include 2 cats and a fox. Pet skins tend to include a lot of whites, reds, pinks, and purples. Pet names are themed around Final Fantasy characters, mythology, astronomy, flowers, or fire.



Kadija's Stable:

Kadija's theme is all about color (notice the RYOGBV line-up). The more colorful the pet, the more inclined she is to tame it. This can include two-toned, multi-toned, and brightly colored pets but does not necessarily restrict darker colored skins so long as there is more than a single color represented. Pet names are usually taken from alcoholic beverages/cocktails or are otherwise tribal-sounding when spoken out loud.



Niabi's Stable:



Niabi's theme is strictly limited to blue and white pet skins only. The only exception to this rule is her beloved Kiwi.



Ghiselle's Stable:



Ghiselle's theme is strictly limited to brown and gold pet skins only.



Rosaria's Stable:



This stable is a work in progress. Originally, I created this hunter as a means to acquire pets that I wanted but who didn't adhere to any theme I had amongst my other hunters. Now, I'm just playing around with different concepts to see what I like best for this specific hunter.



Lilyth's Stable:



Lilyth's theme is strictly limited to pets that have black, white, or silvery-grey skins.



Synestra's Stable:



Synestra's theme showcases a preference for more sinister-ish looking pets such as spiders, serpents, demon hounds, and ravagers. Pet skins tend to be black, red, or purple. Pet names are more likely to be inspired from creatures/monsters found in literature or demon folklore.
