So a two days ago I finally hit 76 and immediately went to the basin to look for Loque'nahak. I spent about 5 hours flying around, running into trees and dragons. I finally stopped in the center of the circle of apes and parked myself. My brother and his fiance arrived at the house, so I was about to log when Loque decided to spawn right under me. In my excitement I forgot that I had the Shago that I just tamed still summoned, so Loque and the poor unfortunate ape that got in my way took a few hits, but my cat was finally mine!
So today I logged in and flew to the Basin. There were a few hunters who were looking for Loque or Aratona, so I've been stopping by so I could tell them spawn points and times if I spotted one of the rares that they were after. On a whim I flew around looking at the King, and guess who was just strolling about?

First time I tried I almost died, being a puny level 76. So I feigned death, waited for my health to regen and got as far as I could away from him before trying to tame again. OF course he ran me around a little, and so when I hit tame again, my health was dropping fast. I finally got him, after watching the tame bar drop and praying, he was mine!
My health, when I moused over it, was at 109!! Talk about by the skin of my teeth!!
We were immediately pulled into an instance... which he was amazing in.
So I've been having fun with this green dino. Still not sure on a name-right now he is Sholazar, it might change if I can think of anything better.
I might have to try for 3 out of 3 of the Basin rares now that I think about it.
