Elevander looked sideways at Akiralios, then shrugged.
"Ancient kings, long forgotten we beseech you. Grant us your blessing." Elevander muttered under his breath.

Timeline

Kozri forced himself to pull together, saying quietly, "There's a city of some sorts over there. I vote we check it out." He began leading the way, "Let's see what they wanted to show us." He said, sounding extremely tense and worried. Stratholme. Stratholme. Of all the places in the continent, it had to be there. He swore never to step a talon in that place, ever again. Ever.

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Zangarmarsh

Thren, with a wave of his hand, strengthened the wind and brew it towards the group. Witht he extra boost, he too could smell the faint, metallic scent of blood up ahead. His face became serious and he looked back tot eh others with a worried expression. He did not like the looks of this.
Zaruuk, not one for standing about and looking afraid, stormed forward to see exactly what was up ahead, blinking himself to get further along.
What he saw damn well nearly brought the draenei to his knees, his eyes wide in shock and fear.

A small draenic settlement, little more than a few buildings clustered in and around one of the large mushrooms that made up Zangarmarsh, looked to be recently decimated. Blue blood was splattered all over the town limits, discarded body parts and once-internal organs thrown seemingly haphazardly. Guards and civilians alike were splattered about, some of them showing signs of torture and other atrocities.
The worst part, however, was the three or so children which had been stripped naked, then pinned to the outside walls of the buildings by multiple long, curved knives. Judging by the tearing around the knife wounds that held them in place, Zar hazarded to guess that they had been pinned up there alive and left to die from bleeding.
The one thing each of the victims had in common was a carved marking on each of their foreheads, one which resembled a stylised dagger with a weeping eye for a blade.

The elf's knuckles turned white as he gripped his sword's hilt harder. Bad memories came flooding bad, but he refused to see them now. Not until this atrocity was avenged.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmarsh

Myri wasn't far behind Zaruuk, and upon seeing the grisly scene, she did go to her knees, her eyes wide in horror. Starting to shake violently, Myri went down on her hands and knees and started to vomit. She had seen some terrible things in her life, but nothing as terrible as this.

Swift came and stood next to his mistress, pressing himself to her sides. He didn't like this, not one bit.

Magna's jaw drop at the sight. He was horrified.

Willowe--Timeline

The worgen looked about nervously, wondering if Attordormu would be coming with them. His little antics before she had entered this place had made her feel a little better. As it was, she shifted into her cat form and hugged herself up against Kozri legs, tail lashing and ears pricked.

Asliasa and Akiralios
Zangarmarsh

Asli turned away with a loud curse and placed her hand to her mouth. She looked as though she were about to be sick, her face paling. Her eyes closed tight and she felt tears starting in them.
Tyranitar whimpered and his head and tail hung.
Akira stared at what was left of the area and she flinched before she looked down. Gnash stayed back, he seemed to know better than to try and feed here at least.

Iocha and Banet
Timeline

Iocha nodded to Kozri and followed after him quietly. She glanced over at Banet, who had taken up the spot beside her, Helthang training about a foot or so behind.

Tirrae, Nagrand

Tirrae frowned, sniffing the air and grimacing. Right, think, Tir. She'd forgotten about looking out for scents. No wonder she'd let a mountain gronn get so close. She stuck close to Myri's side, nervous.
Once they arrived, she reeled back with a hiss, momentarily phasing out. She reappeared after a few seconds, farther away.

Attodormu, Caverns

Attodormu glanced around as he followed through, frowning. This wasn't what he'd expected. Did Rela expect it? He really needed to learn to keep in tune with the timeline...

Lightfur, Durotar

Lightfur stood, heading towards the numerous blood scents. He began healing those he came across, using his vines to remove shrapnel.

Seeing her reaction, Magna hopped off and held Asli tightly, looking away from the atrocity as well.

S.O.B. - Wet place that smells of fungus

S.O.B. felt his pet paladin climb down. It was going to be one of those days huh. Looking around, all S.O.B. could see was dead things and dead things were not much fun. His pet paladin started doing that prayer stuff again. S.O.B. sighed, when was he going to get over that? The horse took another quick look around. Well this is boring, I'm going into the village to see if there is something more interesting in there... or at least something to eat. He thought.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmash

Myri finished retching and wiped her face off. She stood and grimly started to make her way to where on of the children had been pinned. Tears in her eyes, she began to pull the knives out with a sickening wet sound. She couldn't leave them like that...she just couldn't.

Swift gave Tirrae a look and followed after his huntress just in case whoever did this was still around.

Zaruuk and Threnaad - Zangarmarsh

"Blessed Naaru..." Thren murmured as he caught sight of the settlement, and the grim remainder of it's citizens. He looked about helplessly, unsure of what to do or say to anyone.
Wordlessly, Zaruuk moved forward into the city with Myri and up to one another of the dead children. He yanked out each of the knives pinning him to the wall with a swift tug, then carried the tiny corpse to the centre of the town courtyard and lay it down.
"I want to burn them. It is the least we can do." He said aloud, almost dispassionately.
Thren approaches as well, gingerly starting to pick up some of the body parts scattered around, adding them to the now-growing pyre.

Myri carried her burden to the pyre and laid him down. She stood up and looked to Thren, feeling sick at heart. "They were only children." she whispered to him, wiping more tears from her eyes. If they found the monsters who did this...she would kill them.

Timeline

Kozri slowly walked along, feeling the dread threaten to swallow him. The worst part was just...a sign post. Sitting there. All in its lonesome, one of its signs torn off long ago, the beam rotting and the other sign hanging precariously. "Stormwind." Kozri read in a whisper, looking at the sign, and where it had once pointed, just in the distance. He shivered, feeling like a whelp all over again.

Elevander gave Zaruuk a quick nod and then started to carry the larger bodies to the pyre, the ones still in one piece anyway. He didn't trust himself to carry the children's bodies, it was taking all his self-control at is was to hold in the rage he felt.

Asli turned to look at Magna and placed her head against him as she tried to calm down.
Akira tugged the daggers out of the final child and caught them in her arms. She closed her eyes before she followed after the others and rested the little one down carefully. The one thing she had Never done, not even under the Lich Kings command..was slaughter a child.

The druid studied the dilapidated sign, wondering what, exactly, had happened to Stormwind to cause everything to be in such disarray. Her tail lashed again and she looked between Kozri and Atto, whining softly.

((I think if Willowe could, she would take Attodormu home with her and spoil the crap out of him. XD))

Atto hunched down and glared around, wings flared out protectively. This wasn't pleasant at all. Was this because of that Cult? He bristled, jumping slightly at each little sound.

Tirrae, Zangermarsh

Tirrae hated herself for it, but she couldn't make herself approach the settlement. She huddled outside the camp, shivering.
