Decay nodded, catching onto the warrior's train of thought. "Pain is for the living.", she said simply, looking for the cultist with her weaponry.

Batlek, Lightfur and Cult, Durotar

Lightfur nodded, moving via scent towards the main mass of beasts. He spoke to the closest handler. "Get all the flying beasts into the sky, keep them in a circle. Make sure that they attack anything that tries to escape the perimeter." He frowned, turning to Batlek as he tried to imagine a place well suited for such a fight.
"To the northwest there's a gorge filled with harpies. It's large enough for a fight, and hard to escape." Batlek replied. It also wasn't far, luckily.
The cultist with Decay's weapons stayed a bit away. "Your weapons will be returned when we get there," she growled.

Decay - Camp

"I wasn't counting on anything less.", the elf informed the cultist in a bittersweet voice. How stupid did they think she were?

Lesari - Durotar

Lesari nodded, then walked towards this planned battleground, drumming her fingers on Crescent Oath's hilt as she walked. Umbra moved up to her and bumped her head on Lesari's chest. She fondled the cat's ears quickly, then, with a deft slice, cut off the saddles and let the fall to the ground. A change of mind; she'd rather see the cat insane than the slave of some clothhead. Who knew? Perhaps she'd end up as the pet of one of the group that continued to pester them. Wouldn't that be hilarious?
"Run away," She told the cat. "Return only if the sun has set and I am still alive."
Umbra made a confused yowl, unsure of her owner's intentions.
"I said run!" She snapped. Obediently, the nightsaber turned and bolted into the desert, looking back every so often.
Silently, she looked up to the gorge she was rapidly approaching. More closed in than she would have liked, but serviceable enough. Lots of cover, a clothhead concern of course. The rocks may have been perfect for hiding from spells being flung, but would just get in the way of their dance.

Lightfur, Batlek, Cultist and Beasts, Durotar

Lightfur followed, a host of flying beasts behind him. They spread out, landing on the rocks overlooking the gorge and perching on the nests of now scared off harpies. They all watched the two fighters with keen interest.
Batlek glanced around, then nodded. There was one way out of the gorge they were in, and now he was in that corridor. He crouched near a wall, waiting patiently. Lightfur sat in cat form nearby.

Elevander - Teldredor

After paying one of the stable boys at Teldredor, and then warning him about S.O.B.'s disposition, Elevander followed the group unto the elevator. He couldn't help wondering as he stepped on and why it was that the draenei not build guard rails for their elevators.
When Threnaad introduced his daughter to everyone, Elevander gave her a small formal bow and said "Greetings Mi'Lady."
His eyes widened however when Threnaad told The Exarch about the Twilight Cult.
By the light. What have I stumbled into? He thought to himself.
Elevander followed them all to the inn where he listened along as The Exarch explained the problem with these Weeping Blades. Unfortunately the tactics that Elevander was trained in would help little... unless The Exarch had 1000 Knights hidden somewhere.
Although if she did, then she would not have this problem. Elevander thought wryly to himself. He began to think back on his days with the Argent Dawn, before Highlord Tyrion reforged it into the Argent Cursade.
Small warparty. More designed for quick hit and run tactics. Very smart. Changes routine often, so not to fall into complacency. Very perceptive with traps.
"This is only my opinion, but from what I've gathered about this group they would already know the we're here. They seem far too intelligent to not have scouts watching for any patrols or strangers moving through the swampland. Tracking them would be fruitless, they would only leave false trails for us while they hit another outpost. The other solution I can see is to make them come to us and that means a trap on some sort. One that will take them by surprise." Elevander said to the others.

Zaruuk, Yvene and Threnaad - Telredor

"Hmm, Elevander brings up a point." Zaruuk added, resting his chin on his hands as he thought. "It might be suspicious if we just stalk into the mushroom forest hoping to get attacked. Perhaps a disguise? They may not be able to recognise us as easily if we look like everyday villagers."
Yvene shrugged. "Any plan sounds good to me at this point."
"A few villagers out by themselves could be just as suspicious though." Threnaad added. "Perhaps a few of us remain well armoured?"

Weeping Blade Warclan - Zangarmarsh

Both scouts returned at roughtly the same time.
"There's a nice nest just to the north-west of Telredor, alas nowhere near any of our trapped areas." The hunter reported as he handed off the rope to Senisra.
"Found an old Naga settlement, long abandoned." The rogue followed up. "North by northeast of this location. Doubt they would check there."
"Excelent work." Bloodfrenzy nodded, then turned to their new mage friend. "I think we're just about ready. Let's go surprise your firend, eh?"

Lesari - Durotar

The night elf rolled her head atop her shoulders, tensing her muscles as she familiarised herself with the terrain. Each rock could be a stumbling point, or an asset. Finally, she unsheathed her weapon and dropped the scabbard to the ground. She poised herself with her blade close to her body.
"When you are ready, Death Knight." She said, waiting for Decay to make the first move.

Magna listened to the planning. Trying to formulate ideas of his own

Arbennig gave the young draenei a friendly nudge.

Decay nodded, glancing over her shoulder at the exit, only to see Batlek camping it. Right.
She picked up a small rock, studying it while showing a fair amount of disinterest in the warrior, and then dropped it nonchalantly, kicking it heavily towards the warrior's head.

Myriana - Telredor

"Well then I propose this. We should go out as a foraging party. People need to eat yes? That way, some of us look normal, while the rest of us are armed. Three hunters and their pets would not be unusual in such a party, yet it could possibly be enough to tempt them out. " The huntress pointed to a place just west of Telredor. "We could start here and possibly work out way northwest. Another benefit of the pets is that they can warn us if anything seems out of the ordinary." she continued.

Vixik - Arena

Done counting and recounting his gold, the goblin looked up at the sound of some commotion and saw some members of the Cult leaving. Mildly curious and having nothing else to do, he got up and trailed after them. Upon reaching the gorge he clambered up to a higher ledge to get a better look at the fight. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he perched on the rock outcropping, wondering if he could set up some bets on who would win.

Senisra and Bloodfury - Zangarmarsh


The mage took the rope the scout had gotten for her and immediately started placing her enchants on it. She used everything she could think of that would keep anyone bound in them from using their abilities to break the rope. The only way to get free would be for someone to have someone cut it off. Done with that, she handed lengths of rope to those who she felt would need it, telling them to even put it on the polymorphed victims. Satisfied, she turned to Bloodfrenzy, who only nodded and signaled for the others to move out.

The warband disbanded silently and efficiently, Senisra following after White just as silently as any rogue.

Magna finished his meal with a belch.

He glanced over to Myri after her plan, "I'm all for it!"

Myriana - Telredor

Myri paused to think. "So, our "foragers" will be Thren, Zaruuk, and Asli. Guards will be Akira and Elevander. " She looked to Asli. "As much as I hate to do this, we should leave our polearms behind. Maybe to be more convincing, give you bow to your sister, but stay close should we see combat. Magna and I can camouflage, hopefully taking some of this warband by surprise."

The warclan took their positions, the rogue watching closely so they could warn the others.

Senisra and the other members of the warclan took the respective positions, settling in to wait.

Akira smirked slightly and looked over at Asli, who simply narrowed her eyes. "Ohhh no, you are Not getting my bow!" She growled as she pulled it away from the death knight. "I'd sooner trust Elevander with it than you!"
"You just met the guy though! You Know me!"
"Yes, and I know you'll end up breaking it! So no, you are not getting it."

Myri was getting a bad feeling about this mission, but since no one else could think of anything better, she kept up with her plan. "Look, just make it as inconspicuous as possible. I do not want us giving too much away." She looked around at the others. "Any questions? Or are we ready to get going?" she asked.

Asli glared at Akira for a moment before she sighed. She took her bow and handed it to her, though she hesitated in letting it go. "You do Any damage to it and I break your bones."
"I love you too."
"I'm ready to go whenever.."

Myriana, Senisra, Swift, Weeping Blade Warclan, and almost everyone else - Zangarmarsh

Myri adjusted her bow, keeping an eye out for any danger, while Swift ran ahead. Both were heavily camouflaged, in hopes of catching any enemy by surprised.

Spectre saw their quarry through the spy glass and quietly ran to where Bloodyfrenzy, White and Senisra stood. "They are walking straight this way, disguised as a foraging party. I do not see two of the hunters, they must be camoflauged." the rogue reported. Bloodfrenzy nodded. "They will show themselves soon enough. Remember to make sure the mage is mind controlled first be fore we attack." White nodded in response as Bloodfrenzy signaled everyone to be ready and well hidden.

As soon as the mage was in range, White cast her mind-control, and once assured the mage was under her control, nodded to the others.

Several things happened at once. Stealthed, Bloodfrenzy quietly sapped Thren as Sprectre tried to do the same to Asli. The warrior, Benzer, went for Elevander while the warlock started casting curses on Akira ((curse of weakness, Searing pain)). The hunter targeted several nearby wasps, misdirecting them onto the pets.

Myri swore and shot a poison laced arrow at the warlock. Kro'var just ignored her and continued his attacks on the death knight.

Asli had no time to do anything as he felt herself unable to move. She did get a chance to curse in her head though.
"Ow!" Akira snarled as she felt a burning pain in her. She whirled and tugged her rune sword off her back to place both hands on it. Her eyes flared an odd green and she heard a cry from a good distance away to let her know Gnash was coming.
