The white is my ragdoll, the black my maine coon.
My Rags we got when she was about 1-2 range from a breeder who bred her too early, so she is a little smaller then those of her breed-but she is a gorgeous gal and a very mothering cat. I got her originally to be a companion to a kitty that I lost to cancer later that year. I was shattered when I lost my older cat, she was a calico maine coon, my little angel, though she was a royal bitch to anyone else in the house lol.
After we lost her I felt bad for my Rags, thinking she was raised in a house full of cats and should have a companion, so I went out and found a little coon kitten to bring home. This was the first time I ever had a kitten so tiny, and so I was wayy over protective of her and worried like non stop about her for months.
This is her as a baby, with others in her litter, she is the one on the far left.

My little baby used to fit in the palm of my hand....

or in one of my books...

But she has grown drastically, as coons do. She is now an 16 pound monster, and is still growing, as coons don't tend to reach thier full size til they are about 4-5, and she is only 2.

Of my two girls, my coon is the more photogenic, Rags does NOT like having her picture taken, every time she sees the camrea she runs. O_o

And not to be forgotten, here are the puppies, out in a very rare snow storm last winter.
The brat:

And the prince:

Both of whom are shelties.
