white dragon mount... (50 mounts reward)

When I first saw this mount I nearly flipped!
Being such a casual player, and never doing any dungeons (I've had absolutely dreadful experiences with random groups, that have totally turned me off to ever playing with strangers), I figured I will NEVER see this beautiful mount.

So I've sort of been obsessing over getting my Mag'har reputation to exalted (or as I like to call it: exhausted), for the title.

Then I thought, hey! the Mag'har mounts are REALLY pretty, why not buys a couple.

So I head to the mount vendor, and see that there are a LOT of them. I decide to buy them all. Then, just to sort of throw salt in the wound, I look to see how many mounts I actually had, expecting to be VERY far from ever reaching 50 mounts....

Surprise! I had almost 30. And the weird thing was, I had never bothered buying ANY of the Horde racial mounts!! I had one Orgimmar wolf mount, one Undead horse, and that was it!

Well, after a bit of flying around, I got the remaining mounts and ta-dah! a beautiful white dragon in the mail!

now, I will HAVE to look at my list of mounts, because I have NO idea how I had so many! I know I bought the two Blizzard store mounts, and I recently got the Raven Lord and Cenarion Hypogryph <sp>. I had at least two Brewfest mounts, and the Bronze drake from that absolutely horrible dungeon experience. A sea horse, I remember too, and my Zevrah.

It struck me when I decided to buy all the Talbuks (there are eight of them!) and halfway through getting them I suddenly hit the 25 mount achievement... then the last four and I had 29.

How on earth did I have thirty mounts without realizing it?
Anyway, a couple hundred gold later, and a full stable, and a white dragon!
Yay me!

When I got mine I had bought all of the alliance racial mounts dropped a lot of gold on them. And then the next day that patch came out that dropped all of the mount prices and the riding to lvl 20 and 40. I nearly cried.

One thing I notice about white dragon mount... it has one heck of a wide... erm... caboose.
Is it just because being white it shows more than on the Bronze Drake?

The White/Bronze/Black/Red/Blue/Twilight/Azure/Mottled Drakes all have the same bodies, the only difference is the colouration of the skin they paint over them.

In fact, the White Drake is actually a recolouration of the Chromatic Drake, they just coloured the purple parts white and left the turquoise bits as they were.

I think my favourite flying mount remains the Cenarion War Hippogryph!
It's just so damned beautiful.

I love my two dragons (Bronze and White), and love taking them out for swooping around for fun, but for some reason, the Hippogryph has colours and a shape that reach right into my heart and say "me, me, me!"

I completely understand that sentiment.

I have the Cenarion Hippogryph on my Troll Hunter and it just feels so right.

Though my main, a Goblin Shaman, has the Twilight Drake. And oh man, do I love that Twilight Drake, it really is my absolutely favourite mount. Those colours, so striking, so enthralling...

Congrats! It is one of my fave mounts.

I'm 92/100 for the dragonhawk mount. I don't think I'll ever get there, because as far as I know the only mounts I still need are instance or raid drops.
