I'm still stunned at how random it was... well, my b-day's 3 days away, so maybe not so random... I take the portal to deepholm and head to Therazane to grab the dailies when I spot a stone drake. "That's no stone drake..."

Hmm, pic sequence is backwards...

Note: You need to be facing front to hit him. Pretty much a straightforward burn 'im down fight.

Was supposed to be selling a ZA bear run just prior to this, but had turned it down to keep camping this. SO glad i did that.

Seven months of pain, agony, determination, repair bills up to my armpits and a zillion ICC25 runs...

Fffffffffffffffff. Was absolutely dying for his mount for so long! Ironically, "Been Waiting a Long Time For This" was the last achievement needed and took two months to grab!

And someone else dropped, too!

No more Sethekk, ffff.

I flew into TLPD today.

When I say flew into here I really do mean I near enough collided with his face.
Was heading to my usual camp-spot up on ze' cliffs when all of a sudden I hear this BADUMBADUMBADUMBADUMBADTISH!. For a second I'm just 8U-ing at the screen and then WAIT, WHAT. THERE'S A GOLDEN TOFFEE DRAGON- FRRRFFHHRRR MARMALADE DRAKE HAS APPEARED!
Dragged him down to Bor's Falls and popped so many arcane shots into him I don't think he could have seen straight.

... Then flew home via turtle-rides and zeplins with Vasken's druid for company!

Have decided to name him 'Captain Shinysides Bluegum Vollatus Vinegar Marmalade-Dragon Esquire'. Or Volly. Volly works too.

They don't look awesome... I butcher them D8 It takes all of one minute fosrs.

Step 1: Grab 'dat blur tool. BLUR 'DAT BACKGROUND.

Step 2: Abuse 'dat DODGE 'N' BURN TOOL for additional contrast.

Step 3: Layer Adjustment -> Gradient map. PICKED A CRAZY PURPLE/YELLOW GRADIENT AN' LOWERED 'ZEE OPACITY.

Step 4: Scribbled on top of the drake on a seperate layer, blurr'd it and then changed the layer setting to colour dodge. Used Diffuse Glow to add WHITE SHININESS.

Step 5: SHAAARRRRPEEEEEEEN. Shlee turned out fuzzy tho'.

One minute!

Finaly got exalted with the guild last night, and could buy the Dark Phoenix from the guild vendor. <3
Glad they are fixing the graphics in the next patch, cos right now it´s painfull to look at it if you target youself or someone else who´s riding it. o.o

I got my volcanic stone drake not too long ago(damn you Headed South!) but the apart from that, I think I used up every ounce of mount luck I had already. Slabhide farmers, stop reading right now, or you will get ticked off.

While on my 4 day netherwing grind, I finally queued for my first ever cata instance. Stonecore popped up and a few wipes later we reach slabhide. the fight goes smooth and we loot. Oddly enough, it was something epic and I notice reins, and everyone aggreed to need. We run onwards when I check my bags and saw that I just won a Vitreous stone drake and biy was I happy. Best part was, in the next 10 or so runs, I saw 5 more drop and thus 5 happy players ^^. That said, no luck on Altairus yet. Hell, only one of my guildies saw it once and afaik, Alliance side, there's only one person on the server that actually got his allready *sadface*

I was reaaallly lucky. I got a single common, then Ring of the Boy Emperor, then one more common, and the mount.

Been grinding this mount for four years. Have lost the roll twice... But now...!

Congrats, and wow, what a beautiful rendered screenshot! You should make a post about screenshot magic in photoshop (if there isn't one already). I love the Sambas signature too.

My bf and I decided to do our long-neglected mount runs a couple days ago. After Magister's Terrace and Stratholm came up empty, he called it quits. However, something told me to run Sethekk Halls, so i went and solo'ed it.

Glad I did!

This is mount #99. Only one more to go now!

Well, I don't think I can quite possibly explain the shear ecstatic happiness, I'm still very much in a euphoric shock about it all to be be honest... All I can say Is that I am now a very proud owner of a subdued seahorse, that a friend simply gave me out of the goodness of his heart.... I simply can say thank him enough

I decided today to get off my butt and go do some of the other heroics in hope a mount would drop. I did Skadi, nothing again. Couple of runs for rep for lower city, then raven lord..nothing. Happy I got that rep though ^-^

Go into MgT and kill Kael to get into heroic.

First...ever...heroic run...

Oh hey look, another White Hawkstrider! Forget how many kills it took. I think I started farming it with 5-6 kills already recorded. Think I'm somewhere around 30 or 40.

Hopefully it didn't use up my mount luck. Still have my Skadi run to do.
