Threnaad jumped as he heard the sickening ripping noise. "Are you okay?" He asked, before biting his tongue. What sort of stupid question was that? Of course she wasn't okay, she'd just been tortured and was in need of healing. And the person doing the healing was a letcherous broken shaman. Truely this was not an 'okay' situation.

Magna lifted his wife with a cringe, walking into the inn...he went into an empty room.

Myriana gave Thren a pained look. "I will be once you get healing." she retorted, feeling extremely awkward. She could feel the blood dripping down her back.

Asli frowned as she was lifted but said nothing about it. She could chew him out for it once he was healed up.

Akira looked over at Arbennig and smiled. "See, we got him back. Little worse for wear but..he'll be alright." She sighed and looked at her tail tip.

Threnaad - Telredor

"Sorry." Thren winced, moving over to Myri's back and carefuly placing his hands on her. He took in a deep breath and began to channel the spirits, drawing a finger down one long cut, slowly closing it to leave no trace of a scar behind.
Right, busy yourself with the work, don't think about how painful this must have been, or how much of an arse you just made of yourself. He thought to hismelf. And most certainly don't think about how nice it is to be this close to her... Shit, so much for that.
He swallowed, then looked more closely at the other, older scars along her back. They... weren't as bad as he had expected them to be. Oh, they were certainly not a pleasant sight, but he's seen far, far worse before. He moved onto another of her more recent cuts before he could get distracted again.

Random Vindicator - Telredor

One of the Vindicators scratched her head as she watched Magna and Asli walk off to a room, before turning to look at Akira.
"Uh, do you think they still want healing?" She asked sheepishly.

Akira looked up at the Vindicator and then over at the door before she snickered and shook her head. "Later, more than likely, but I suggest that you leave them be for now. She'll come out and get someone when it's needed."

Myriana - Telredor

Myri flinched as Thren touched her, almost expecting pain. It never came though and she eventually relaxed, finally feeling safe. Part of her was glad that it was Thren healing her and not Willowe. At least he hadn't made a big deal about her scars. She flushed a little at the other part of that realized she just enjoyed Thren's company, even he did occasionally get her fox drunk.

"Do not worry, I am almost done here Myriana." Thren said as he moved onto the last wound he saw on her back. "Are there any others that need attending to?"
Part of him hoped there was, just for the excuse to remain this close without seeming like a letch. Of course, he was a letch for even wanting an excuse, he supposed.

Random Vindicator - Telredor

The Vindicator nodded, then blinked. Why would you even want to... to... to show one's love for another after being tortured? Well, he was an orc, she supposed. Maybe that was a turn-on for them? She shook her head and sat down, ordering herself something strong to drink to get the mental image out of her head.

Myri blushed ferociously at Thren's next question, mostly in shame and embarrassment. The mage had managed to claw her thighs up like...they were scratching post or something. She really didn't want Thren to see that...but she also didn't want more scars. Oh Light. Myri bit her lip, finally drawing her knife and cutting through her pants where she estimated the wounds started. She peeled them back with another gasp of pain - maybe she shouldn't have put her gear on - before looking way. She didn't think Thren would do anything to hurt her, but now she was starting to feel really uncomfortable. That was just way too much skin to expose.

Threnaad immediately blushed and looked away. Oh great spirits, he wasn't sure how much he could take before making an embarrassing mess of himself. He was only a few steps away from gibbering nonsense as it was.
"Would you prefer if I went at got you one of the female vindicators to heal those?" He asked politely as he cleared his throat, wondering if she'd feel more comfortable with a stranger.

"You are here no, the sooner it is done the better." Myri stated, though she was blushing just as much. She REALLY didn't want any more scars than she already had, and the sooner she got this done the better. She was sure she'd be just as embarrassed if it had been Willowe or another healer. At least that's what she kept telling herself.

"Right, well then. Uh." Thren coughed again. "I will try to be quick then. Lust-Just relax! Just relax."
Was he saying that to himself, or to Myri? Regardless, he carefully placed his fingers on one of the wounds and started to heal once more, forcing himself to think only on his work and nothing else.

The huntress gulped as Thren touched her again, not missing his little slip of the tongue. Oh dear, that explained a lot about Thren's current behavior. And it only caused the huntress to blush further and look away as she realized she really didn't mind it if he felt that way. She actually rather liked the thought.

Threnaad finished his healing as quickly as he could, while making sure he left no scars behind. Feeling more than foolish enough, he stood up and looked off, trying to will himself to be calm. To be in control. Neither of them needed this... this fascination of his.
"I am sorry" He said once he found his tongue again. "That must not have been comfortable. And... And I am sorry I did not stop her from taking you."
Great, now he was rambling further. She didn't need to be reminded of that again! And besides, what could he have done? Thrown bits of earth at the mage? At least Zaruuk had been useful. All he did was clean up afterwards.

"It had to be done." Myri stated simply in response to the healing, though she frowned. Did he have to bring her up again? All she wanted to do was try and forget that it had ever happened...Myri shivered as she remembered Senisra's touch and the tears she had been so successful holding off finally spilled over. She quickly wiped her eyes and hid her face from the shaman, muttering "It is not your fault. I should have guessed she would have hunted me down like a prized stag."

The broken turned around as he heard the muffled sound of her trying to suppress her tears. He found himself at a loss for words - a rare occurrence for the normally quite verbose shaman. Why did he have to say that? Some selfish desire to try and free him of his guilt for not being able to help this young draenei in her time of need? Again? He should probably just leave, he wasn't making things better for her now. She was healed, after all.
"I will not let anything happen to you again." He found himself saying, sounding resolute. Why was his mouth still talking? "I do not want to see you hurt like that again, Myriana."

There he went using her full name again, though she had expected him to say something of the sort. Everyone else had. "Uh-huh" she just nodded, refusing to look at him. He must think her nothing but a child now, despite his slip up earlier.

She didn't admit to herself that she actually liked it when he called her Myriana instead of Myri.

Okay Thren, you've said your peace and made this one hundred times more uncomfortable than it needed to be. He thought to himself, running both his hands along the ridges on the back of his head. And it was pretty uncomfortable to start with. Just... just walk out and don't say anything more. Or make some stupid joke. Or pretend to hear Zar call out for you or something.
"I care for you."
Fuck. You just aren't listening to me at all, are you mouth? Traitor!
"And I mean it to, I think. I dunno. Don't think too much about it, the spirits know I do, and it's giving me a headache. But don't feel that it needs to mean anything either, because I'm just a tattered old Broken with a bad reputation and aching limbs you could do one hundred times better than me. You probably should too."

"I care for you" That was another- Wait. What? Myri lifted her tear stained face and listened as Threnaad rumbled on about finding someone better than him. But she didn't want anyone else..she wanted him! She didn't know anything about this bad reputation, but him being broken didn't mean squat to her. She actually found him quite attractive...

Myri stopped herself. When had she started caring for Threnaad? It had to have been when he was trying to help her back in Booty Bay...she hadn't realized it then, but the more she thought about the more she remembered that she tended to gravitate towards the Shaman. He always made her feel better....except that she was much too young for him...he would want someone with more..uh.. experience than she had. She should tell him that. "I care for you too." She blushed and turned her head away again. Stupid mouth.
