The druid chuckled again, using her claws to scratch the rhino gently across his big head, pausing to give extra scratches behind his ears.

Floyd - Dalaran

The rhino rested his head on the windowsill, flattening his ears so she could get behind them easier. Oh she gave good scratches. Floyd decided that this wolf thing was his new best friend. The rhino closed his eyes in bliss.

The innkeeper approached Willowe, grimacing. "If you're going to continues scratching this lug, I'm gonna have to ask you do it outside. He's about to break my windowsill."

Willowe--Dalaran

The worgen laughed. "Sorry mate," she called to the innkeeper. Moving towards the door she motioned to Floyd. "C'mon then ya big lug, let us go outside and I will give you a proper scratching."

Floyd - Dalaran

Floyd sighed and started to back out of the window, only he forgot to tilt his head and got stuck. He let out a low rumble of panic before the innkeeper dashed up. "Floyd! Ya gotta tilt your head you big oaf!" Oh right. The rhino rumbled an apology, adjusting himself and managed to back out of the window with little damage to it. He stayed put, and waited for Willowe to come and scratch him as she had promised.

Willowe--Dalaran

Willowe couldn't help but laugh at Floyd's antics as she walked outside to go meet up with him. She moved over to the beast's shoulder, beginning to scratch him again. "What do you think Floyd," she asked, "should we go run off together and live in a world of pets, scratchings, and spoilings? Maybe you can be my pet." The worgen meant this mostly in jest, but part of her would enjoy a pet like Floyd all the same.

Threnaad - Zangarmarsh

Thren looked up from his position sprawwled on the ground and wagged his stump of a tail slowly. Well, at least she didn't seem to be in danger. He rose himself to his paws and lowered his head in an apologetic fashion. He'd only been concerned for her, after all.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmarsh

Myri studied Thren closely, watching him. She knew hew as apologizing for startling her, his body language made that clear enough. But why did he stay a wolf to do so? He was a person, not an animal. She knelt down beside him and tilted his head up to hers. "I would prefer that you spoke to me in words, and not in yips like Swift does." she told him gently.

Swift continued his hunt for Myri's lost things. He knew he was close, he could smell where the mage had snuck up behind her. The fox gave a low growl at the thought, but pushed it aside. The mage wasn't around any more. And Myri needed her stuff.

Floyd - Dalaran

Floyd gave a happy grunt as Willowe continued to scratch him all over. His hunter gave good scratches, but Willowe's were a lot better because of her claws. He tilted his head up, trying to get the druid to scratch under his chin.

Seeing the rhino tilt his head up, Willowe complied with his wishes. She went and sat underneath his head and used both hands to scratch Floyd's chin.

Thren nodded, then padded back a few paces to change back.
"Sorry, it is a little hard for me to get out of ghost wolf form." He mumbled one he was corporial, scratching the back of his neck. "I was worried about you. No offence, but the last few times you have gone off on your own, the results have not been pretty."

Little Mouse - Traveling, Booty Bay/Northrend/Dalaran

*Skip Way Back in Time*

Little Mouse watched all the other people leave, eyes still lingering on the injured death knight. I hope she's not too injured. she thought worriedly. Little Mouse's eyes felt heavy, and she decided to turn in for the night. Slipping up the stairs after handing the innkeeper a gold coin, she lay on her bed and breathed deeply. What a day it had been, especially with the unexpected fight. Finally Little Mouse fell fast asleep, no dreams penetrating her rest.

The next morning Little Mouse woke with a start. She felt that... something was missing. Sleep still laying heavily on her mind, it was a moment before Little Mouse figured out the obvious. Moony was missing! Sliding out of bed quickly, Little Mouse put on her armor and went outside quickly, scolding herself all the way. How could she have forgotten to bring him in last night?

She whistled loudly, and then called his name out in the crisp, yet still tropically warm air. "Moooony! Where are you? Come on, we can get some breakfast. Fish, your favorite, whaddya say boy?" Silence answered her, and Little Mouse bit her lip with worry. What if he had gotten lost? Or run away for awhile? Was he angry at her for forgetting him? "Moony, please come back! I didn't mean to forget you, it's just the heat of the moment a-and..." her voice trailed off. What kind of excuse was that? Shrugging it off, she decided to make a search of the area, whistling for her cat the whole time.

Striding through Booty Bay calling, she suddenly caught a flash of blue-gray fur over at the end of the docks. "Moony! There you are! Come here you big-" Little Mouse stopped mid sentence as she realized he was lying on the boat that was about to depart for Northrend. "We're leaving now folks, get yourselves ready!" screeched the voice of a small goblin standing on the deck. Little Mouse broke into a run. "Moony! Get off of there now!" She hoped he would listen, the stubborn cat.

Moony raised his head. With a grunt, he noticed it was his Mistress. Now she bothers him, after he was finally having a nice time lying in the sun. How dare she forget him. He rolled over on his back, licking his lips. Well, he'd better go to her. But he'd take his time, he thought, he'd take his time. Heaving himself to his paws, Moony suddenly felt the boat lurch, and as he looked over the edge, he was brought out of his dazed, sun-warmed trance by the realization that the boat was leaving, and so was his mistress! Eyes wide with panic, he studied the water, moving faster and faster beside the boat.

Little Mouse's heart lurched with the boat. It was leaving now! She had to stop it...! But it was too late for that, Little Mouse reasoned, the crew were already well into their routine. That left trying to jump or swim after the boat. Little Mouse grimaced. Why oh why did Moony always get into these things... with a running start, Little Mouse leaped as far as she could- and hit the edge of the boat. Her breath knocked out of her, she gasped as she started to fall, scrabbling for a grip. Catching an edge, she clung on tight as she figured out what to do next. Great start, Little Mouse, she thought gritting her teeth. A real intelligent way to catch a boat.

Moony watched as his mistress gripped on to the side of the boat, and he reached over the side of the boat with his head and tried to reach her. But she was too far down, and his jaws came nowhere near her. Frustrated, Moony instead raced over to one of the crew members, who happened to be the goblin who had declared the boat's departure. The goblin shrieked as the giant saber cat almost knocked him over. Moony didn't quite hear all that the goblin said, the blood in his ears rushing as he tried frantically to make the goblin understand that his mistress was clinging to the boat and needed help!

Little Mouse was getting tired already. The carved edge wasn't very large, and her grip was slipping as the mist sprayed up from below onto her. Suddenly a high pitched voice called out, "Catch this missy!" A rope with a large knot at the end was thrown down next to her, and Little Mouse grabbed on to it gratefully. Climbing up the edge of the boat, she hauled herself out and sat there panting.

The goblin handed her a rough blanket, and let her dry herself off before informing her, "Boat rides ain't free, missy. Ya got anything to make up fer it?" he asked, eyeing Moony warily. Little Mouse sighed and tossed him a coin, which the goblin grabbed out of the air and inspected. "Goblins." she muttered under her breath. Turning to Moony, she patted him affectionately. "Well, I guess we're going to Dalaran early this month, eh?"

*Back to Current Date*

Little Mouse looked up, a weary smile crossing her face. "There it is Moony, Dalaran, the city of the Kirin Tor." It had taken quite awhile, as most of the time they had been traveling on foot, except for now, on which they were mounted on gryphons Little Mouse had borrowed from the nearest civilization. With a click of her tongue and a tug on the reigns, her gryphon spiraled up, up, towards the magical city. Once they reached the top, her gryphon landed and Moony impatiently jumped off of the creature's back, giving the gryphon The Eye, and shook his fur irritatedly.

Little Mouse slid off and snapped her fingers twice, a sign for the gryphon to return to its master. With a squawk, it lifted itself up and dived down out of sight. A grateful sigh escaped Little Mouse. They were finally there.

Floyd - Dalaran

Floyd lay down and rolled over on his side, careful not to crush Willowe, as if he was a giant dog instead of a rhino. He was pretty sure he'd stay here all night if he could.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmarsh

Myri nodded at Thren's explanation. She could see where the broken was coming from..that form must be a lot more agile than his current one. Still, she promised herself that she would try to always be around when he took that form, if only to remind him that he was a person. She grimaced as he continued. He had a point. Trouble always seemed to follow her when she went out. It was her turn to apologize. "I am sorry I worried you Thren. I did not mean to, but I could not find Tirrae and I did not want to bother you while you were with your daughter...." she trailed off looking rather chagrined. "I promise next time I will not do it again." she finished lamely. What else could she say?

Swift continued his search, finally finding the objects he was looking for. He gave a loud bark to get his huntress' attention. Hearing it, Myri darted off in the direction of the fox, figuring Thren and Tirrae would follow. "Well done Swift!" she told the fox, inspecting her weapons. They looked to be ok, despite their time in the swamp. She shouldered her crossbow and waited for Thren and her warpstalker to catch up.

"Well aren't you just the little attention whore!" she exclaimed good naturedly to Floyd. Suddenly, the worgen let out a rather large yawn and curled herself up next to Floyd, keeping a hand idly scratching the rhino's hide.

Thenaad - Zangarmarsh

The broken was about to respond, but was distracted when he too heard Swift calling out. He followed along, neatly tripping into every damn fungus along the way. How it was that the others were able to keep so fleet of foot, he could not say.
"Everything look okay?" He asked once he finally caught up, managing to not trip over that one mushroom and collape onto anybody; a plesant surprise considering how the day had gone thus far.

Little Mouse - Dalaran

Little Mouse patted her leg for Moony to come, and they entered the city together. Looking around at all the tall, colorful towers, Little Mouse and Moony strutted through the city in awe. It had been a long, long time since Little Mouse had been here last, and it was if they had never been here before. "Look Moony! There's the toy store!" Little Mouse grinned, remembering the mechanical mouse she had gotten Moony. Perhaps they could visit it later, but first she wanted to see all the sights to be seen.

"Oh, and there's a flower merchant, and a fountain, and- ohhh the pet store! And the stables!" Little Mouse breathed, eyes flashing like a little girl. "Come on Moony, lets-" she paused, noticing the rhino and the druid outside, and wondered what they were doing. "Hmm, must be playing... or something." she decided.

Myriana and Swift - Zangarmarsh

Myri smiled at Thren. "Swift found my weapons! That means that I will have to spend less money paying for new stuff when we get to Dalaran!" Myri stifled a yawn. "Perhaps we should get back before the others start to worry. And we should probably head to Dalaran sooner rather than later. I would not be surprised if everyone else was there already." The huntress stifled another yawn. She actually couldn't wait to get to Dalaran. She felt as if she could sleep for a month.

Swift wagged his tail at Tirrae, looking a bit smug. "Swift, that is not a nice look. She was the one who was hurt, you had an unfair advantage." The fox's head drooped. Myri just had to rain on his parade.

((Kozri is in the inn, assuming Floyd is a man eating Rhino))

Floyd - Dalaran

Floyd decided he liked this wolf-person. His head started to droop sleepily until he heard someone approaching. The rhino picked his head up, noticing an Elf and a cat were staring at him. He didn't move, not wanting to disturb the druid, but kept an ear tilted in their direction.

Little Mouse and Moony - Dalaran

Little Mouse glanced at the pair once more before heading into the pet shop, but Moony refused to come in. Little Mouse sighed, before giggling when she remembered why he was so stubborn. Last time he had tried to eat the Frenzy fish, and had gotten himself into quite a scuffle, the results being wet, soggy fur, and bald, shaved parts on his pelt. Shrugging, she went in without him, ready to enjoy the unique and interesting animals inside.


Moony lay down as if he was asleep, but he kept one eye open as he watched his mistress go into the animal place where that horrible fish thing lived. As soon as she was gone though, he stood up and stalked over to the rhino and the weird-animal-thing-that-was-an-animal-but-didn't-smell-like-one, which Moony had named it as he had sniffed it when Little Mouse and him had walked by. Now he crept over, intent on discovering more about this weird-animal-thing-that-was-an-animal-but-didn't-smell-like-one. Moony ran the name over and over in his head, liking the sound of it. Yes, he was good with names, he thought proudly.

Moony advanced closer until he was right behind the weird-animal-thing-that-was-an-animal-but-didn't-smell-like-one. He sniffed it more closely, taking in almost human scents. Snorting confusedly, he pawed at it. What was this creature?

"You know, I do not think I've ever been to Dalaran." Thren mused. "Unless that was the place with the dock? And the big church to the Light? I stopped of there once, one of those robed humans kept giving me a funny looks, as if he did not quite know what to make of me. Probably did not help matters when I pulled a face at him every corner we turned around.
"Uh, anyway," The broken cleared his throat, starting to walk back towards Telredor. "Myri, you should not be afraid or uncomfortable to approach me or my family. After all, you are slowly being corrupted into joining it. In fact, open invitation. You are free to bother me whenever you want to, no matter how busy I appear to be."

Myriana - Zangarmarsh

Myri smiled as Thren told his story. "No, that is Stormwind." She clarified for the broken. She was about describe Dalaran to him, except that the words got stuck in her throat at the broken's next words. Open invitation to join the family? Myri felt a little panicked. That was a bit forward, and quite frankly that thought hadn't even crossed her mind. Not that, she wasn't flattered, she was, but ...that was moving a little fast wasn't it? How did she answer that? The huntress decided to ignore that part and skipped right to the last. "I will be sure you bother you all the time then." She said in a half hearted attempt at a joke.


Floyd - Dalaran

The rhino snorted in annoyance as the cat started to bother the druid. Damn cat was going to bother his new friend and interrupt the now sleepy scratches he was getting from her. Floyd turned his head and gave Moony an offended look.

Moony - Dalaran

Moony leapt backwards in surprise as the rhino's large head turned towards him with an irritated look on his face. Moony snorted, and held his head up high. He wasn't going to let this big furry rhino creature bother him. Moony glared at the rhino, but made no move to inspect the weird-animal-thing-that-was-an-animal-but-didn't-smell-like-one.

"Stormwind? That's a funny name for a city. It was not a particularly stormy or windy city either." Thren rambled, frowning a little. "At least the dwarves named their big city something that made sense. And please, do!" He smiled in an attempt to come off as approachable. He looked forward to see Telredor not too far in the distance.
