Today I woke up early as usual to check on King Krush before work. Before I checked the spawn points, I did /who and thought "great" - 2 other 85s, one of them a hunter. But oh well, since I logged in i might as well check. I've been checking for Krush at various hours (usually mornings) for a few weeks now without any luck. I've seen Aotona twice, Loque'nahak twice. Both of them tamed without much problem. King however, even though he's so big, he managed to hide from me for all that time.
I checked the first spawn point. Nothing. I'm still a bit sleepy and I totally wasn't expecting to find him, because I was in the state of mind of never actually finding him. Checking the spawn points was just my daily routine.
Second spawn point, nothing. Now for the big path between nesingwary and Shango. I started going through his route from the top. Barely crossed the Loque's spawn point and NPC scan goes off. I still didn't get used to that addon and probably never will, it scared the hell out of me as usual. OMG it's king! I tamed a random pet the day before, because I wanted to try the tactic of doing bestial wrath and abandoning pet to avoid the first fear. So I want to dismount.. and wheres the damn dismount button?? Oh here it is. I dismount, call the pet, do bestial wrath and abandon the pet. But I'm so slow this morning, before I abandoned it BW was almost over. I'm nervous someone might interrupt my tame.
I hit the tame button, great - fear. Bestial wrath was over. I get feared to Shango and aggro him. Now to feign death or try taming again.. What the hell, I'm 85. Taming. Yay, no fear, tame is almost done. Then "ding", flashy lights around King and he's mine ^^ Happy to be finally done with Sholazar, and I really wanted King no other devilsaur. Now I can finally support dungeon groups with 5% crit when I'm running as BM.
Ok, so what now.. still have time before work. Uldum is not far if I use the portal between Ungoro and Sholazar. So i fly down to Uldum and thought I'd check for Madexx. This guy is another pet I sometimes check in the morning and afternoons when I'm playing and have nothing better to do or waiting in some queue. So I fly over, but for this one somehow I had the gut he would spawn. And there he is! NPC scan goes off, it's BLUE Madexx, first one I ever found. Great, no place for another pet. Quickly abandoned Barnabus - a brown rare wolf, thinking I'd find him again later in the wild, hoping he won't be mad at me. Tamed Madexx without problem, forgot to even lay down a trap.
So now I'm a happy hunter and feel like my collection is somehow complete ^^ King just bugged me for so long and Madexx was a good bonus. I will still check for other Madexx colours once in a while, but King was the one I really wanted and on my realm there's always 85s and other hunters in Sholazar so it's tough.
