Goldberry's family: New Members

Well, what a lucky day. On a machine that I don't even have NPC scan on, I flew through Scholazar for my JC dailies and spotted Loque as I did a lap around! No trouble at all, it was a quiet day and I had no competition for it! This is my second spirit beast, and will probably stay in my list of called upon pets. I named her Undomiel (see Arwen from Lord of the Rings). My main will still remain my first spirit tame: Arcturis, renamed Rauros.

My naming convention is to use Lord of the Rings names from an alphabetical index, and the first letter of the name represents the order in which they were tamed. I'm starting to run out of stable space, and some of my non-rares may have to make room as I get into those 4.2 challenges. I'm so excited, and can't wait to find more!

So its been a lucky couple weeks for me since getting Loque. Between late June and tonight, I've acquired quite a few big names:
Skoll: Named Widfara

Gondria

Magria (just got her tonight): For her, I did indeed take all my armor off, but with all the other enemies around it was tough. Luckily my husband was on and tanked away the other enemies while I did the tame. I watched many others die before I got my chance to try! But it was easy peasy with the armor off.

This was actually my most amusing tame since when I saw her, I had all my gear on and had yet to create an equipment set that just removed everything I had on... so I was running around after Magria and throwing off my clothes bit by bit... the whole while watching others attack/attempt to tame and get mauled in short order. I died once because I attracted the attention of a nearby enemy, and with next to no clothes on it didn't go well. Luckily my husband joined me at that point and started pulling off the enemies until I had my shot at the tame. <3
I highly recommend making a naked equipment set just for this purpose if you haven't already, because you just never know when you'll see one! I also highly recommend that you have a tank to pull off the enemies that you're trying to not attract...
