Got there and there were a couple other hunters trying to get him, but they kept dying in the process (even when they double teamed him at one point). I waited for him to come around the backside of the Sactuary, took a shot, Parachute Cloak'd just before hitting the ground, dropped trap and started tame. The trap finally caught him when I had about 10k health left.
