My primary source of today's excitement was the prospect of camping the new spirit beasts. I admit, I barely read the quest text for the chain leading up to Malorne's resurrection. Wasting little time, I persisted in twitching about the top of a tree so that I was precariously perched in wait for Ban'thalos, and peered with my Eagle Eye about the Regrowth. With a quick intermission for chores, I debated on ordering a pizza but decided...you know what, I'll wait a half hour and see if something pops up. After a few minutes of twitch, Eagle Eye, twitch, Eagle Eye, my heart leapt at the sound of the thunderous war drums, the brazen horn! And the sight I hoped to see, Magria's brilliant blue form. I dashed across the valley, stripping off my armor as I went (hopefully I didn't hit anyone in the head...), popped deterrence and...wait, what, grey, NOOO--oh, he reset, resume taming gogogo! A few more tense seconds later, and Magria was mine...and I was apologizing to the priest for her death due to accidentally right clicking on him as he ran atop her. 344k on cloth, ouch!

And I just grabbed Ban'thalos! I was JUST about to log off to turn on some addons when he spawned, and I then spent the next ten seconds biting my nails while he very slowly flew within range. Tag, deterrence, trap, tame!
