I got up earlier than usual because I had a feeling... I dreamt about the tame all night (I'm such a dork, I know) and the first thing I did was turn on WoW. I expected just to sit there while I did other business and hope that NPCScan would go off. Keep in mind, I had no idea where she actually spawned or walked, besides it being in the Regrowth. So I log on, no heart attack-inducing horns. I fly a few feet... and there goes the heart attack. I look around, surely she's in the process of being tamed? Maybe just someone's fresh tame? Nope! I go to tag but I had taken all of my gear off without considering I should leave on my bow. Oops. Start taming and then... oh god, someone shot her! A blood elf tags her but I keep taming. Well, to keep it short, since I'm getting wordy as it is, we keep playing tag. She's halfway dead, I'm pretty much dead (thank god I noticed and took a pot, or I'd actually be dead), I thought someone else was taming her (there were quite a few people around) and it kept saying, "already being tamed", was getting bummed and then... ta-da! She shrinks and runs to my side. VICTORY!
I think it also helps that I was surprisingly calm. And now... a picture!

This was right as I started to tame, as you can tell by our high health. She had already taken a good amount off.
I thought I took a screenshot as soon as the tame was finished but this will have to do:
