Defensive Stance Busted?

I'd had it confirmed that Defensive stance would still have the pet attack your targets as *well* as whatever attacks you. As of patch, my pets were behaving normally in Defensive.

Now, however, after the latest minipatch, my wolf is instead refusing to attack anything while in Defensive unless I actually get hit. This is driving me nuts.

Anyone else having this issue?

85% sure that's Working As Intended there Acher. :( On the PTR Hadouken refused to hit anything on defensive unless it hit me/him first, so I assumed that was how it was meant to work. Assist will be your primary 'attack this while I do' stance from now on, unless you want to manually send your wolf in before you start attacking(which I tend to do anyway).

I'm pretty sure it's working as intended Ache. I've been finding that using the assist feature works like the old defensive.

I wish if it was going to be broken, it'd at least be broken consistently.

Note the first reply. I thought maybe I was remembering it wrong, but Kalliope said:

Pets still run in while on defensive if you attack something; just confirmed that. I would think assist works better when you REALLY want control over your pet.

It was working this way for me on patch launch, I'm 100% sure. I guess they broke something at the later patch, or maybe it's just an indecisive stance >.>

I dont even think its specifically a assist stance bug, cause i was farming UBRS earlier and for no reason my beetle, which was in defensive stance, just started running around attacking enemies for no reason and not listening to me, like he was in aggresive. Probably just a bug they need to hotfix

I had this too. I was doing one of the level 85 dungeons and both the warlock's pet and my pet had pulled random mobs (like they were on aggressive) when they REALLY loooooooooooong dungeon.
