• Do you have any pets?
  I currently have 7 pets. 2 cats, a dog, a uromastyx, a blue tongued skink, a ball python, and a rosehair tarantula. 9 if you count my 2 chihuahuas back home with my Mom.
  
  What was the last book you read?
  I just finished reading Headhunter by Michael Slade - one of my favourite authors in terms of psychological horrors and such.
  
  Do you like to cook?
  No, not really. I've never been very good at that sort of thing, and my boyfriend is a wonderful cook, so I leave it all to him. ^^ I can make pasta though, that's about it. xD
  
  What's your favorite food?
  Pasta. :3
  
  Do you have brothers and sisters?
  1 brother and 1 sister, though I grew up as an only child. It's a long story, but my brother was put up for adoption when he was born since my Mom had been very young, and we found him about 10 years ago. My sister I found through Facebook of all things, she was the only other child my father had and she'd been looking for me all these years. Needless to say it's pretty awesome, and remarkably the three of us have so much in common despite each of them being from separate parents and I'm the only link between them.
  
  Which sport do you like?
  None. My family is obsessed with sports, but I skipped out on that gene. They hold no interest for me whatsoever.
  
  Do you live alone?
  Nope, I live with my boyfriend of almost 7 years.
  
  Do you live in a house or an apartment?
  My boyfriend and I officially own a house now, so it's all very exciting.
  
  Have you ever lived in another country?
  Nope!
  
  Have you ever met a famous person?
  A few I suppose. Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee from the LOTR movies) filmed a show in my old hometown, so my geeky friends and I had to go meet him. xD I used to work in a huge mall that's a big tourist attraction, so any celebrities in town would often shop there, and the store I worked at was on the main hallway. Since it was a goth/rock shop I also met tons of bands, so that was pretty cool. If you're an anime nerd (like I am) then I've met plenty of voice actors too. :3
  
  How do you spend your free time?
  My computer sums it up well. I'm predominantly playing WoW, watching anime, or hanging out online somewhere. :3
  
  What are your hobbies?
  Drawing, reading, writing, anime, and animals. ^^
  
  What countries have you visited?
  Just the USA (edit: Oh, and Mexico...parts of my family lived in California so sometimes we'd cross the border. I sort of forgot it was a separate country xD). Sadly, I've never really been off of the North American continent.

  I was born in Canada and have been here my entire life.
  
  What do you do? What's your job?
  I work in the local pet store. I started out on the sales floor, but a year ago I was able to move up into the admin office. Now I receive invoices, take care of inventory and pricing....stuff like that. Basically it's just me and a computer, and I couldn't ask for anything better. I've had it with customer service, I hate people. xD
  
  What is your motto in life?
  I don't know if I have a motto per se, but generally I just go with the flow. I try not to overthink things and just let whatever happens happen, then deal with it from there.
  
  Which languages do you speak?
  Technically only English, though I know some French and I am teaching myself Japanese.
  
  What are you best at?
  Hmm, probably drawing. I've been doing it since I was a kid. ^^
  
  Who has had the most influence in your life?
  My Mom for sure. My father died before I was born, so she had to raise me by herself and she's always been a very strong person. I look up to her a lot.
  
  Would you like to be famous?
  Nah, no interest in that sort of thing. It would be bothersome.
  
  What do you think you will be doing five years from now?
  Honestly, probably not much different than right now. We just bought a house, so I know we're stuck here for a while. We might possibly get married some point within that time, but it's not really a priority for us. I'm also assuming we'll be going on our big trip to Japan sometime in there.

  Night person. I hate waking up in the mornings, and I feel most energetic during the early evening.

  Many, many times. More than 10. I became ridiculously accustomed to it and had the art of packing down to perfection.

  Probably Lydia from the old Beetlejuice cartoon, though people always tell me I look like Emily the Strange. x)
  
  If you could live anywhere in the world for a year, where would it be?
  Japan, for sure. I love the culture there, and can't wait to visit in the next few years.
  
  If you knew could you try anything and not fail, what dream would you attempt?
  Probably get over my fear of college/university and just jump in and go for it. I'm really apprehensive about post secondary for some reason...just worried I'd waste time or money since I have no idea what I want to do.
  
  What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
  I think I'd have to pick Psychokinesis - being able to move objects with my mind. That would be awesome.

  Used to be on clothes, but I have more than I know what to do with after working in a goth clothing store. Now I'd have to say Ebay. xD Paypal makes it so easy to spend money there, lol.

  I don't think I could be apart from my family and friends that long. I guess if I could bring them with me, I'd try moving somewhere in the mountains, where it's cool and fresh and there's tons of forested land.

  I'd be a wildlife photographer - travelling all over the world to see all the creatures, from insects to whales.

  Didn't think of it til someone else's post, but a shapeshifter would be epic. Wanna fly? - change into a bird thing. Wanna swim? - change into a fishy thing. That'd be so awesome!

  Sadly...on restaurants. Besides that, probably video games and beads. Beads can get expensive after a while, lol.

Not right now but I used to have pets my entire life, from dogs to frogs, from cats to rats.

What was the last book you read?
I've been reading the 5 books of "The Malloreon" by David Eddings and now started on "Stormrage" by Richard A. Knaack

Do you like to cook?
Yes, I do love to cook. But only for other people. When I'm eating alone, I just make something quick.

What's your favorite food?
Steak. Definitely steak, steaming hot from the BBQ-grill.

Do you have brothers and sisters?
One brother, 10 1/2 years older, so he's over 50 now!

Which sport do you like?
I used to like Formula One but not anymore. Drag racing will be my all-time favorite, though.

Do you live alone?
Yes! And I love it!

Do you live in a house or an apartment?
Appartment. In Germany, having a house is rather expensive and more for the wealthy people.

No, sadly not. I'm not really attached to Germany and would gladly go someplace else.

Have you ever met a famous person?
Several. Nena, a famous German singer back from the 80's and such. But I'm not impressed by "famous" people as the eat and breathe just like I do.
And I would so love to meet James Hetfield, leadsinger of MetallicA, just to find out if he is a nice guy or an idiot.

How do you spend your free time?
A lot of reading, playing WoW, spending time with friends.

What are your hobbies?
Games. Role playing, tabletops, board games, computer, cards...
Reading.
Painting tabletop miniatures.
My computer and what I can do with it.
If it has some reference to fantasy, all the better!

France, Italy, Austria, the USA, the Netherlands, Hungary (my mom came from Hungary)

Born, raised and always lived in Germany.

Right now, I'm unemployed and it makes me crazy!
I'm a trained mechanic but haven't worked in that business for over 5 years now.
I've been in stores & shipment the last couple of years.

I don't have one. Maybe it's "Don't have Mottos!"

German, of course. And some say, my english isn't that bad either...

I'm very good at making friends.

No, it would draw all the attention and you couldn't have privacy.

I don't have a clue. Really. I hope I'll have a job somewhere else than Germany where I earn enough money to live a comfy life.

Definietly night. I like the quietness.

Once. But I was only 3 months old so I can't remember.
And the new place was about 5 minutes by foot, so I haven't gotten very far.

For only a year? Hmmm... I'd try Australia if I had to go back after a year.

If it was absolutely impossible to fail, I'd try to get rid of world wide hunger and / or war.

Magic. You could do anything just by flicking your wand.

On my rent. If you mean my spare money, it'll be books. Novels or pen & paper role playing games.

"Kaasköpje" means "cheese heads" and it's what we Germans say as there seem to be an all-time rivalry and dislike between Germans and the Dutch, which results from soccer, I guess.
When the Netherlands failed to qualify for the world cup, all the fans sang "Without the Netherlands we're going to the world cup" all the time.
I'm so glad I'm not into soccer!

But we Germans have a certain image of the Dutch that is best described as "cheese, windmills and travel trailers".

When I visited the US, I had to learn that Germany meant "Sauerkraut, beer and leather trousers" to the Americans.

As I know that the american image of Germany is wrong, I'm pretty sure the german image of the Dutch is also wrong. But can you help it? It'll be always stereotypes that'll be stuck in our heads.
