Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Batlek nodded as Cori got her infusion, then stepped forward for his own.
Lightfur sighed. He knew they were going to attack Bloodhoof and his mind viciously fought against the idea. He'd lived there for years, attended and lead the Story Circle his tribe would hold there.
"I'm in a bit of a dilemma," he told Ina, figuring it was safe enough to talk to the child. "The town we're attacking is one I have a rather strong sentimental bond to, but I can't just not fight. I'm a leader." His voice was low enough to deter cultists that might be listening in.
Faron, Dalaran
Faron blinked at Indi. Was that possible? Well, it could be. He turned to Umbra, mentally telling her to bond with Indi as soon as he broke the current bond. He had to admit he didn't like the idea, if only because he'd miss the company, but it was a selfish thought. Umbra was much better fit to be bonded to Indigosa.
He quickly broke the bond, the troll watching carefully to see if he needed to tranquilize the cat.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Having received her infusion, Cori went back to Ina and Lightfur, looking down at her hand. It was surrounded by a glow, but it seemed to be coming from behind rather than within. Huh.
"How's the tea?", she asked, sitting down again. "They're getting ready for the attack, Lightfur, and it seems we'll both be needed. What do we do with Inaara?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Nodding to Faron and hoping that the bond was broken by now, Indi reached out to Umbra, trying to imagine how hunters bonded with their pets, and attempted to coax the cat into pairing up with her.
Rosaliah--Dalaran
Rose grinned at Elevander--this high elf was funny--and followed him back to the inn where the others were at. She remained close to him, still feeling as if she owed him a debt for pulling her off the roof, especially since she was unable to heal his broken arm. What she didn't expect, however, was to be caught studying his features. Blushing furiously, she looked away and tried to focus on Decay.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Elevander - Dalaran
Elevander turned to watch Decay as she spoke up about the book and her plan for the cultists, however he couldn't help feeling like someone was watching him. He turned around just in time to see Rosalia turn suddenly towards Decay... and now he had a slight uneasy feeling in his stomach. Was the arcane aura of Dalaran affecting him? He shook his head to clear it, there was no time for such thoughts.
"Decay wait a second. Will Threnaad's daughter be caught in the middle of this?" He asked.
((I've detected the subtle efforts of Peddlefeet in regards to my stupi... I mean naive paladin. I hope he's remembered to bring his balista of lust though. Elevander's thick head is a bit more bone than brain.))

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Dalaran
Kozri nodded, shaking himself. "I'll get Willowe to contact them, then I could set up a portal for them. As long as they come through in mortal form, shouldn't cause too much a stir." He said. Azunara brightened, looking at Decay. She would get to help! And with Kozri and all the dragons close by, she'd like to see Batlek try and get to her. She lashed her tail, nodding. Distraction. She could totally do that!

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Pleased that her plan seemed to be accepted, she turned to Elevander, showing a slight bit of concern. If people started doubting her moral would sink like a rock. Undead were so much easier to command, sadly.
"If she isn't already dead.", she said, trying not to sound uncaring. "Assuming she's alive they won't keep a possible enemy in the middle of the fray, that much I'm sure of."

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Ina watched warily as the two nice cultists went over to do some sort of power infusion thing. None of the other cultists tried to attack her though. She sipped at her tea, then looked up to Lightfur.
"Then don't do it then." The young draenei whispered back. "Go warn the people in the town, they don't need to die!"
~
Umbra and Zaruuk - Dalaran
Umbra looked over to Faron, understanding what it was needed of her. She moved over to Faron before he dropped their bond and rubbed against him, sending him memories of their escape though her link to him in an attempt to tell the wolf how grateful she was for rescuing her. She wouldn't forget that.
She padded over to Indi, waiting for the bond to be broken. Her face suddenly dropped into a snarl, ehr tail lashing as she fought against the crippling insanity, she forced that excess energy to Indi, forging the bond between them.
Zaruuk watched the exchange silently, hoping this bond would work. then turned to Decay and nodded at the plan. It seemed simple enough, and they certainly had the forces to pull it off.
"How are we going to get to Mulgore?" He asked. "Do we hope they're not pulling portals to them again? Or shall we think of another way to get there?"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan

Rosaliah--Dalaran
The hunter moved away from Elevander, feeling sufficiently embarrassed. She smiled at Zaruuk's question. "I should hope after all the trouble we gave them with portals last time they would know better than to intercept portals anymore. If anything, perhaps someone close to the Kirin Tor could convince them to make a bunch of portals; we are in their home after all."
Her gaze fell on Elevander once more and her brain struggled to remember how mercenaries paid each other back for favors that didn't involve stabbing the other person in the back.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Thren spluttered at Decay's words, flipping between panic and rage. If she wasn't already dead? If she wasn't already DEAD?!
"I'm sorry Decay," He said, trying to keep as civil as possible. "Getting my daughter to safety has to be my first priority here. I can't just leave her when she could be in danger. I will only be one person, me missing for a time won't matter too much."

"She is still alive. I do not doubt that." Myri whispered to Thren. Heh. If that mage knew anything it was how to bring a person to the brink of death but keep them alive. Myri shuttered again. "Decay, I will send Swift and Tirrae in to mess with the troll, however I am going with Thren to make sure Inaara is brought to safety. Perhaps, if she will permit, Umbra could carry Thren and the girl out of there." And the huntress had a feeling that where ever Inaara was, Senisra would be.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
"Very well.", Decay said, managing to prevent a sigh. What a waste of resources, if the kid wasn't already dead she wouldn't be anywhere near the combat. Meh, it was just one of their very few healers and Myriana, who would most likely just be a liability if Senisra showed up anyway. Besides, it shouldn't take them long.
Cori - Mulgore
Cori listened to the others as she nibbled on a cookie. She wondered slightly what they were talking about, but she wouldn't get involved. It was probably just something about the tea anyway. Wasn't much she could do about, after all, she didn't exactly have the time to sit down and make another pot right now.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Indigosa--Dalaran
Indi was surprised to feel Umbra help enforce the bond, wondering if this was how it usually happened. When the chaos of the shadow Umbra carried entered her, Indi blacked out for a moment, struggling to fight her way back to the surface. She knelt to the ground, trying to get her vision to clear again, reaching out a hand towards the large shadow cat.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Elevander turned to Myriana and Threnaad.
"Take Squires with you. Somehow I doubt being mounted will help with this poisonous cultist. Besides, this Senisra will expect both of you and probably has various counter-measures in place. Squires is quite adept at ruining plans." He said, then he smiled. "As Lord Raymond once said 'Don't look a gift horse in the mouth... especially if that horse is SOB as he will bite your nose off.'"

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Umbra, in return, shuddered as she felt Indi's blood rage through the bond. She hissed and extended her claws at the sudden and unexpected bloodlust, arching her back as she struggled to separate her new mistress' emotions from her own. Eventually the bond stabilised and she let herself relax a little, turning to stare at Indi with her golden eyes. She yowled a little, then bent her head to the Death Knight's touch.
Zaruuk watched Indi fall to her knees and stepped over to help, wondering if this bond thing had been a bad idea. He relaxed to see the death knight reach out to the shadow cat, although he still worried.
Yvene drummed her fingers on the hilt of her sword as she thought, tryign to put her own personal stakes in this battle to the side. Let Stumptail do all the worrying, she needed a clear head to make sure everyone made it out of this alive.
"Just how much detail about this upcoming battle does this little, magic, black book from the future of yours have?" The Exarch asked Decay. "My Vindicators work best when we have a clear plan of attack. Not that we cannot improvise, but we want all the odds in our favour."

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
With a final shudder, Indi's vision cleared and she reached out a hand toward Zaruuk, letting the other one ruffle Umbra's fur. "Thanks mate," she whispered to the cat, feeling much better.
Sabra--Mulgore
Sabra paced around the new camp, a smile turning up the corners of her mouth at the mention of destroying a village. Now that sounded like fun.

"What kind of troops we can expect, and when.", Decay explained simply. There really wasn't more to the book.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Lightfur sighed. "If that was possible I would... But Batlek would light me on fire for such an act. Fire does very bad things to vines and grass." He winced as he heard a shout from Talonaris - everyone was ready. He hauled himself to his feet. "Well, then, Cori. Time for us to go. Inaara... What to do with you. We can't leave you, I don't want Senisra coming back for you, but I don't want you to have to watch. And you can't wander around - this is Horde territory, and they're going to attack anything that moves once the attack is finished."
Dalinda, Talon and Batlek had gathered, and beasts were in multiple giant packs, tearing at the ground in anticipation or flying agitated loops in the sky.
Faron, Dalaran
Faron flashed a grin at Umbra as she rubbed against him, then stood to shake again. It was amazing, how much shaking out his pelt seemed to help. Maybe it was just the fact that he was rattling his brain so much that he killed a bit of it... But it helped regardless.
He watched Indi and Umbra nervously, wondering absently if he had time to talk to Rose. Probably not. That ruled out sulking, too. Fel.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
"Tell Lord Batlek that I'll be in the camp guarding our assets.", Cori said with a sigh. She didn't want to participate in the attack anyway, it was all kinds of wrong. A harmless settlement. A peaceful one at that. "I'll have to just take his fury."

The rogue and warlock were gathered with the others, both twitching in preparation for the fight.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
"Then why don't you leave this dumb cult, if you don't like what they're doing?" Ina said back to Lightfur, before lowering her head and sighing. Sometimes things weren't that easy. "I can come if you need. Priestess Phyrala says not to shy away from violence, but to keep it in your memory. That way, at least somebody will remember that they died. It reminds you about what's really important too."
She looked up to Cori and tried to put on a brave smile. "You don't need to risk being punished just for me, Miss Cori."
Jraak hopped over to the rest of his flock, clicking his beak excitedly. It had been so long sicne he had been in a good fight. And even better, he knew nothing about the mammals they were going to be attacking. No pesky doubts to get in the way of his lightning.
~
Umbra, Zaruuk and Yvene - Dalaran
"Is everything alright?" Zaruuk asked as he grabbed onto Indi's hand and braced himself, just in case she wanted to get onto her feet.
Umbra rumbled again, wondering if her new mistress regularly had issues with controlling that blood-rage.
"Do we have a time before the cult starts teleporting around again?" Yvene asked. "I would like to know how tight of a deadline we have before we get moving."
