Solix Sadness and Claiming Kirix

So when I heard about the new challenge tames the only pets I said that I wanted were Deth'tilac and Ban'Thalos. So until the Molten Front unlocked I was parked in Banny's tree with no luck. The molten front opened up yesterday and no Deth, and no sightings of the new rares. Today I log in and head to Deth's spawn point, no Deth but an orc hunter waiting, I dont believe in invading someone elses camping if they were there first so I left. I do my dailies and come back to see the orc gone and so I stay there to wait. After a little while a nightelf hunter comes along and we start talking about rares. He mentions that Solix is up and asks if I want to help him tame Solix. I said sure. So we head down there to see a troll hunter get floored then a paladin run in and get smushed. So my hunter friend grabs TAGGING Solix as his and we begin the kite, just as the hunter begins the tame the paladin runs back in and kites Solix until he dies Now Solix was tagged meaning the pally would get no loot but he killed him anyway After that the hunter and I parted ways.



A while later I was back at Deth's spawn point and I decided to eagle eye over to Karkin and Skarr's spawn point to see if either were up and they wern't...but Kirix was. I said that I never wanted Kirix so I stayed by Deth's spawn point. But a few eagle eye's later I wanted to go see Kirix up close. I head over there and see several skeltons around as well as a nightelf hunter dying 4 or 5 times. I get a whisper asking if I want to tame him, it was the same elf that I had tryed to help get Solix earlier! He said that the other hunter trying for Kirix was his guildie and he was going to give up. Me not knowing how to tame Kirix just try him with tame beast. I get crushed Now I try hopping one rock over and get floored again. My hunter friend offers me some advice telling me which rock to get to so on my way there I fall to my death I have to take a spirit rez. I come back and get to the rock just to try to tame beast again and I still die. He tells me that I needed to use deterrence and then tame. I died 2 more times before that beautiful yellow flash appeared and Kirix stood at my side. I got many congrats from fellow rare hunters and within minutes I had 3 people ask me when/where I got him. I never wanted Kirix but...now I've bonded with him and I dont think I could part with him
