Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Inaara - Mulgore
Inaara swallowed as she watched the shadowy troll approach, feeling scared despite herself. She backed away from him, bumping into Lightfur behind her. Instinctively, her fingers moved to clutch at the grasses and vines that made his hide, ignoring the scrapes and cuts made by the thorns and whatever other sharp parts that were tangled on the druid.
"Take me with you, I'll be okay." She muttered to him, tyring to keep as quiet as possible so as not to get Batlek upset with the two nice cultists. She could handle the violence... Well, she thought she could. She'd certainly be able to do it better if she was with someone she trusted, as opposed to being paraded about again.
~
Zaruuk and Umbra - Dalaran
Zaruuk had to snort, a smile briefly flashing across his face.
"Do you really think my answer will be anything other than yes?" He asked, reaching down to kiss Indi on the cheek. "Besides, it would be more than hypocritical to be judgemental. I will be very surprised if my Man'ari side does not come out during this fight."
He looked up to Littlemouse as she spoke. "Of course we are willing to have you along, if you are willing to join us."
Beside them, Umbra twisted her head, unsure of the sorts of emotions her new mistress was feeling. It was certainly nothing like her old one ever felt.
~
Threnaad - Dalaran
Thren jumped out of his silent little panic attack as Myri tugged him inside. A drink? Yes, that sounded liek a good plan. Something to calm him.
"Sorry," He muttered, "I know I'm not being very helpful at the moment."
~
Yvene - Dalaran
Yvene nodded to Willowe.
"Please do. We don't have that much time." She said. And with that, she strode inside and moved over to an unoccupied table. She waved over a servant and asked them to fetch her a map of Mulgore.

Myriana - Dalaran
Myri shook her head and sat the shaman down near Willowe, then ordered him some ale from a passing waitress. "Do not apologize. You have good reason to be." Light knew, she was useless more often than not these days. The huntress was actually surprised Decay hadn't forbidden her to go. Though it was probably only a matter of time before she did think of it. Bah. Myri eyed Thren's ale and considered getting some for herself, but decided against it. She'd rather have a clear head for the upcoming fight. Instead she sat next to the broken and listened to the conversations about her.

((Updating with the other cultists once I get something to eat. Nom, instant asian food.))
Lightfur, Mulgore
Lightfur flicked in the thorns on his hide like he'd retract his claws, and silently urged the grass on his hide to send some energy to Ina, healing whatever cuts she'd gotten from the thorns. He nodded at Batlek, while he cursed repeatedly in his mind.

Cori - Mulgore
Cori shuddered, stalking back a few paces. He wouldn't hurt her for this, right? She was still a valuable healer, right?
Going with the Cult had been a bad decision. A really, really bad decision.
Decay - Dalaran
Decay followed the vindicator over, slamming the book down in front of her as she sat down. She pointed at the tattered old map inside, which had some rudimentary troop locations scribbled down on it. "I was thinking a flanking attack from here, with the dragons on the other side.", she explained, pointing at the two ditches on the sides of the village.

Kozri and Azunara
Dalaran
Willowe had answered Little's question sufficiently enough. He doubted he should make the others too worried with their fates. Death was a simple, clean answer. He focused instead on casting the spell that would connect to the Caverns. Dalaran's constant buzz of magic helped considerably, anywhere else and it would've been a lot more difficult. The portal shimmered into view, and you could see sand beyond it. "Alright. Let Atto know he can bring 'em through." He said.
Azunara watched everything going on, tail flicking as she sat by Kozri.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Cult, Mulgore
"I'm glad we could come to an understanding," Batlek replied calmly, turning away. He was frustrated with Cori, but he still respected her skill and rank. He'd let this go unpunished.
"Cult! We're moving!" commanded Talonaris. Lyra roared to punctuate him, the massive lynx ripping holes in the grass with her claws.
Lightfur let out a sigh of relief. "Don't worry. We'll keep you safe, child, or we'll die trying." He stood, ready to follow.
Attodormu, Caverns
Atto grinned at Willowe's response and, being a young and rather overly energetic dragon, flapped off to find the assembled drakes. "They're ready, but we need to be in mortal form," he called out to them. Once he landed, he flickered in and out of his young elf form before eventually settling in it. To his pride, it looked perfectly normal.
Besides an out of place scale on the back of his neck, that was... But nobody would notice that.

Willowe, Indigosa--Dalaran
Willowe nodded to the others, forehead scraping across the table. Atto, go ahead and bring them through, Kozri's ready for you.
Indi looked up to Zaruuk, smiling gratefully. "Thank you," she whispered. Realizing that she could sense Umbra's feelings through their new bond and her curiousity, she turned to the cat and said, "I apologize Umbra. I am not used to this sort of thing." The death knight focused on reigning in her wildly out of control emotions. Mostly she just really hoped they would be moving to Mulgore soon.

Little Mouse - Dalaran
Nervously, Little Mouse headed inside to get the rest of her armor on and slinging her bow onto her back. By what she heard, they wouldn't be leaving quite yet, but it was better to be ready ahead of time.
Still fumbling with her gear, Little Mouse silently pondered what she'd gotten herself into, but pushed that thought to the back of her mind. They would win, she told herself.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Inaara - Mulgore
Ina nodded to Lightfur solemnly, grippign onto his grassy hide for a few seconds before letting go, ready to follow along.
~
Threnaad - Dalaran
Threnaad cradled the ale in-front him, far too caught up in his own troubles to drink it.
"Inaara is the last, unspoiled thing that remains in my life." He mumbled, unaware he was speaking out aloud. "Everything else changed once I became broken. Zaruuk became sullen and bitter. Kyali was dead. Most other draenei preferred to pretend that I, and the rest of the broken, didn't exist. But Ina was still Ina, she didn't care, she didn't change how she acted. I can't believe she got caught up in this mess. She doesn't deserve it."
~
Zaruuk and Umbra - Dalaran
"No need to thank me." Zaruuk shrugged, then ran a hand absent-mindedly along one of his horn-like forehead protrusions. He had to stare curiously at Umbra, feeling like he was missing one half of a very interesting conversation.
Umbra chuffed in response, sending another memory to Indi. She was laying underneath the shadows of a tree, watching her old mistress training with her weapon. Through their bond, she could feel Lesari's troubles and emotions pushed away, replaced with the simple joy that was the flow of the dance.
Besides, the bloodlsut wasn't what she had been confused over. No, it was that strange, tender emotion she was unsure about. It was like the bond. But different. Less tangible. It was nothing her old mistress had ever felt. The closest she had come to it was when she danced in combat, but even that was wildly different.
~
Yvene - Dalaran
Yvene nodded, gently trailing a finger along the map page as she thought.
"I assume the Death Knights outside are part of our forces as well?" She asked. "If they are not afraid of a long drop, we could have the dragons drop them onto the cultists as they strafe past. They most certainly won't be expecting undead to rain down on them."
Ina nodded to Lightfur solemnly, grippign onto his grassy hide for a few seconds before letting go, ready to follow along.

Decay - Dalaran
Decay brightened up at Yvenne's suggestion. ''I like the way you think! That would be glorious. Only problem is, dragons are too proud to act like mounts.'', she said. ''That would work for you paladins too, we have mages for Slow Fall and your Divine Shield should work well enough too. Are any of your troops specialized at protection or healing?''
Cori - Mulgore
Cori followed, trailing behind Lightfur and Ina, as she thought about how to avoid Batlek's rage when that moment came. Maybe... No, that would never work.

Senisra - Mulgore
The mage's eye twitched as she saw the two healers approach with Inaara, but otherwise her face stayed emotionless. That was her hostage, it had been her idea in the first place...Oh Lightfur and Cori would pay. But she had more important things to think about at the moment. Like this upcoming battle and that damn gloating little troll. She would be an easier target than the little draenei at the moment. Joining this cult had been a bad idea. She should have stayed on her own where she could have done as she please.
Myriana - Dalaran
Myri was feeling rather at a loss for words. There was only so much she could say, and obviously none of it was helping Thren. So she remained silent and let the shaman talk, wrapping an arm around his waste in a silent attempt to let him know she was there. Eventually Myri gave Thren a nudge with her hoof. "Perhaps we should listen to what the plan is going to be." She reminded him gently and turned her head towards where Ivenne and Decay were planning.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Rosaliah and Indigosa--Dalaran
Rose grinned at Yvene and Decay. "That plan sounds awesome!" she commented, imagining the idea of undead and paladins raining from the sky on the Cult. She wished she had something more to contribute, but her mind was still flustered from hanging on the roof and Elevander's odd method of saving her.
--
Indi took a moment to think about the memory Umbra sent her before she understood that the cat's old mistress never really had the kinds of emotions Indi was experiencing--hell, Faron probably didn't either. Unfortunately she had no real way or memory to use to explain love to Umbra so instead she gave the big cat a hug and a small kiss on her nose, then stood and snuggled herself into Zaruuk.
Sabra and Ambrosia--Mulgore
Sabra was running over the various spells she knew how to use in her mind in preparation for the battle. Only it wasn't tauren she was planning on killing, she wanted to get back at that bloody mage for always trying to make a fool out of her, especially in front of her father. She wasn't fond of Ambrosia either, but the rogue had been infused one too many times for Sabra to feel comfortable fighting her.
Ambrosia had both of her daggers out and at the ready. She dipped them into her flesh, coating them with the poison running through her body. She looked to Batlek, waiting for the signal to attack.

Cori - Mulgore
"We'll just stay here-ish...", Cori said to Ina, leading her to a spot far away from where the combat would be, yet close enough to still be able to get some heals off. "How about... uh... You just look at that thing over there?", she said, pointing to a pink Tallstrider walking around. She turned to Lightfur, muttering to him. "I don't feel comfortable with this. Those tauren were never a threat.". The druid was without a doubt the most trustworthy person around, after all.

Drae sisters and Banet
Dalaran
Iocha stood after a few moments and went upstairs to get her armor. At that point Asli and Akira had a quiet discussion about letting Iocha come along. Asli sat back after a moment and smirked as Akira gave up.
"Sometimes I hate you you know."
"Same to you sister." Asli watched as Akira shoved her chair back from the table. She glanced around before she made her way toward the Death Knight that had been planning this thing. Decay, if she remembered right. "So what are we doing?" She had been distracted by the family news, after all.
Banet blinked and then gave a little shrug before she leaned back in her chair. That Death Knight could make her Felguard, who was the crankiest creature she knew, look like a fluffy bunny sometimes. If, you know, bunnies carried axes. The mental image of that popped into her head and she let out a snicker.

"Plotting an attack.", Decay replied without looking up. "Missed your assignement?"
She marked out an area with a cross, and then looked up to see who was talking to her. Right, Akiralios. Unholy-nerd. "Want a reassignment? I could justify a transfer to Batlek, your anti-magic field would be useful against the troll."

"Think you could handle keeping a powerful warlock preoccupied while you yourself stay alive?", Decay asked. Akira did look strong enough, and she certainly would have some tools to stay alive, the problem was rather whether she would be brave enough.

Dalaran
Akira let a little smirk come onto her face as she nodded. "Oh yeah, I think I can do that." It'd be a challange, and she loved those. She was starting to like this other woman.
Gnash peeked over at the two before he scooted back under the table the sisters had been at and started to chew on one of his fingers. He didn't bite down though, he had been in terrible trouble the last time he did that.

Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Little Mouse and Moony - Dalaran
Finally Little Mouse finished getting herself ready, and shuffled down the stairs to find the death knight seemingly giving an assignment to a Draenei. Shrugging, Little Mouse decided she should probably ask if she had any, and walked over to wait until the Draenei was done.
Moony yawned. He was still rather sleepy, and he decided to ignore the big group of blue people and instead wandered over to the stables, scraping out a small nest. Curling up in it, Moony drifted off to sleep quickly.
