An Owl flying mount.
My nickname IRL is Owl so ive kinda become obsessed with them. olm,+new spirit owl in 4.2 are DREAMS come true
They will be at my side and in my stables forever.
though i wish we had an Icy owl pet too, similar to the Avian ripper color but blueish and whitey (those are adjectives right? well they are now)

Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
In Burning Steppes, there are all of those lava tarantulas. No one uses them, like....EVER...despite the fact they are cool.
THINGS THAT WOULD HELP:
Although plainly made of rock and lava, the 'lava' areas don't glow. This makes them seem like it's just painted on rather than actually being made of it, and I have to admit, that's weird. Is there any way a glow effect (doesn't have to be a huge one) could be applied to the 'fiery' areas?
Alternatively... could we replace them with a single common variant of the new fire/lava spider that already has actually-flaming-spots? It could be the red or orange one; that way no one screams about rares-made-common-and-lowlevel.
someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket

Duskstalker at level 9 on Teldrassil, who uses the snow leopard saber cat skin, and Shadowclaw at level 13, who lives in Darkshore, not too far from the ruins of Auberdine. These guys are both rare spawns, but due to their level, their respawn timer is relatively short, and nowhere near the 6+ hour respawn timer that some higher-level rares have. They're quite easy to get with just a tiny drop of patience.

Giving them some Kibler's Bits puts them about where they feel they should be, but...I think something more permanent is in order? :3
*Owait. Did I already suggest this? I can't remember...
** To add to this, I honestly don't think my demon hound is any bigger at 85 then when I first got one at level 10. ._.
Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
I'd actually love to second this one. Also, I'm fairly disappointed it was taken out of the wolf family. Having that buff was really nice instead of having to go get a worg, I love the two I have, but these are just some of my favorite pets. I'd love to see these guys about the size of the foxes or even swapped sizes, but making the fox smaller might upset people who like it that sized. These guys...they are one of the smallest pets we have and I'd just like to see them get a little love size wise.Lohuran wrote:My condor flies properly again, so I'm pretty happy about that! The only thing I'd still like to see is Dogs having their post-tame sizes increased, especially the demon hounds. They're so very tiny, even to my Undead Hunter (they're downright puny compared to my Tauren Hunter D:).

Funny, since one of the main reasons I love the demon dogs is because they are small. We have enough large pets, and we can even make them larger now. Please keep monkies and dogs small and adorable!Thwip wrote: I'd actually love to second this one. Also, I'm fairly disappointed it was taken out of the wolf family. Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
Of course, it goes hand in hand with making the dog-type pets bigger since they're so small.
I always wondered why they didn't just make them a part of the bat family for the longest time. They use the same animations, it's really no different than the rune hounds or actual dogs or the eighty different kinds of wolves. Heck, look how different the boss silithids and 'normal' ones look.Ickabob wrote:Now that we can get a pterrordax companion through archaeology, would you please see it fit to give hunters one as a rare tameable? To make things easier, you could fold it into an existing pet family such as birds or bats. Please and thank you.
