There I was about to give up on finding any of the new rares, when wouldn't you know it, NPC scan goes a blaring out that its seen the mighty high Ban'thalos.
Now already having already seen this wonderful bird dead from many wounds, I didn't hold my breath on it being alive above such a place where many fellow questers err quest.
But no he was alive and soaring around the sky's being followed by a fair few hordes and ally's .
Right Dibz I said to myself your a goblin hunter this should be easy.
Try 1
So I go level with the bird I fire my one shot into it so that it will notice me and be rather annoyed, so here I am falling getting ready to hit rocket jump, when disaster strikes, yep In all the excitement I've forgotten when my rocket jump is.
SPLAT
I res eat and go again

I'm level with my prey, I fire my shot, its a hit, I'm falling and at the last second ROCKET JUMP saves me, I lay my trap and get ready, a fraction of a second later I seem to be getting spammed with some sort of moonfire, I look round for where its coming from and to my horror its from Ban'thalos.
I res eat and go again.

Right lets try the tree tactic, I carefully go towards the high tree, I seem to be on right, ok this is it I click dismount.

I'm pretty close to giving up this tame, when I notice an allie mage hit Ban'thalos and slow fall, the mage must think easy kill, right up until the point Ban'thalos starts to for better words nuke the crap out of her.
She Iceblocks with a fraction of her health intact and Ban'thalos is near the ground, now do I dare distract shot, trap and tame, I decide why not my trap goes down, my shot goes off, I click tame.
I should point out I was surrounded by many a quester by this point, probably wondering what this suicidal goblin is up to, so as I watch the tame counter go down I'm expecting any second for Ban'thalos to be hit by many spells, arrows, bullets, maces, etc at any second or for the mage to un-Iceblock and go hey I want my 25g, but thankfully no, Ban'thalos takes no hits or blasts from a slightly chilled mage.
So I give you.
