Re: Fury of the Twilight Clan
Glix and Karzix - Dalaran
"Stop that. Yah're makin' me nervous." Karzix drummed his fingers against the tabletop, watching Glix pace back and forth. She paused to look at him, narrowing her eyes.
"You want nervous? How about you go polymorph one of the lead Cultists, hmm? Then we'll see who's nervous."
"'Course I'd be nervous. I don't even know 'ow tah polymorph."
"For gold's sake, Karzix! You're not helping!"
"Well, 'ow am I supposed tah 'elp?! Whaddaya want me tah do, dress up like a Cultist and have you play target practice?"
"That could work." Glix rubbed her brow as Karzix gave her a sour look. "Look - what if I screw up? Then what? I'll have an angry Cultist going right for me or one of you guys. I'm not the best mage out there, it could happen. Maybe I should go get some practice in or something before we go? There are a lot of mages around here, so I could -" She let out a surprised squeak at the strong grip on her wrist. Karzix dragged her over to the closest chair, spun her around, placed his hands on her shoulders and stuffed her in into it.
"Just sit. Down." He straightened up, studying her for a quick moment. "Glix, everyone is a bundle o' noives right now. One less person that's freakin' out is all the better, yeah? Yah'll be fine."
"You put way too much confidence in me, you know that, right?"
"Mmhmm." Karzix returned to his chair, leaning back to watch the others as they talked and planned. He spoke up after a few minutes. "Yah can always talk tah Zaruuk or somethin' if yah're that worried."
"Maybe." Glix propped her elbows up against the table, idly watching Threnaad getting attacked by various animals.
Vixik - Bloodhoof
Vixik veered away from the scents of burning flesh and hair, not wanting to risk being run over by a big, panicking and not to mention flaming tauren. He drifted further back behind the front lines, pricking his ears to listen for heavy hoofbeats. With a twitch he picked up such a sound, albeit staggering. He cocked his gun as he caught sight of the wounded brave, gritting his teeth at the sound of the loud bang.
"You can thank me later, buddy." He murmured, giving the slumped over corpse a quick once-over to see of anything shiny caught his eye. He scowled as he saw nothing but a few beads, then continued on. He remained a bit behind, content to pick off the weakened tauren. It was quick, easy, and had a much lower risk of getting caught beneath hooves.

Decay - Dalaran
Decay had the same thought process as Akira, so she sighed and took another sip. How was she going to go about this?

Dalaran
Akira took another drink as she let her mind wander for a moment. This sort of thing would have been easier when she was alive, but now it was..not so easy. She closed her eyes and let her mind come back and realized she could still feel her wounds. She'd have to get healed before they left.
"You know...that duel was the fist one I've had in a long time where I had to actually focus." She glanced up at Decay and hoped she was not flushed like she though she was. "Most people are too stupid for me to even bother.."

Myriana - Dalaran
Myri heard Azu out and nodded. She leaned down and whispered to the cat, "I am scared too. That mage will stop at nothing to get to me again. But I am tired of being afraid - it has gotten me nowhere. So instead of her hunting me, I am going to hunt her. One of us will die, and if it is me, at least it will be on my terms - not hers." she told the ghost firmly. "And I think everyone here knows that dying is a possibility. I think a lot of them have accepted it, and heck, several of them- including you- have already died once already. If you ask me, I think there are worse things than death, and those who are still alive know that. So, we go in and give this cult our best shot. If we do not succeed, hopefully we will have put a big enough dent in their forces that those who take them on after us can finish the job. But, I will tell you this. Decay said that if we strike soon, our chances are better than waiting. So, instead of worry about what could happen, think about the job you have to do." she advised. "That is what I have been trying to do, and so far it has seemed to help, though I am still scared."
Senisra - Mulgore
The mage moved through the village, incinerating anything that moved. She was about to light a building on fire when she came across a tauren that was healing the others. HA! That wouldn't last long. She polymorphed the druid and tied him with her special rope. He could be used for more infusions later.

Decay glanced up at Akira, trying to wash the emotions off her face. "I feel the same way. I... You're a tough component, I had to... to think, not just act. It... It was fun.", she said, stuttering up at some words. Thinking became hard all of a sudden.

Akira nodded and smiled as she took a smaller drink this time. "It definatly was." She looked down again and shifted herself in her chair as her tail twitched. Huh...it never did That before. She leaned back in her chair after a moment before she smiled.
"You know..." Maybe she could get this out without it sounding as dumb as she thought it did. "I've only known you for a bit but..I like being around you Decay.." Well..she didn't Sound stupid..but she Knew her cheeks were flushed. So she looked stupid instead. Greeeat.

Azunara and Kozri
Dalaran
"Right," Azunara said quietly, "I just don't want to see you, or Kozri, or any of the others die." She then added seriously, "If we fail though, that's it. Koz and Willowe and a few of the others went into one of the futures. If we lose, there won't be a second chance, no dent put in the forces. You die, everyone else dies except Decay and Koz. I become Batlek's slave. Koz throws his lot in with the Infinite flight. Decay is with the Infinite as well. We have to win. And it's scary knowing all of Azeroth rides on us. At least in the wars it was a bit more forgiving. There would always be someone else in your place. Not now though."
She stopped, then added, "But you're right, I guess. I have to focus on what I can do, so that doesn't happen. I figure I can make a nice, big, distraction and fade back and let the rest of you handle it. Decay would murder me if I got too involved." She gave a weak grin at that.

Myriana - Dalaran
Myri sat in shocked silence for a moment. This...was not good hearing to say the least. Not at all. Still, the huntress put on a brave face. "Well then, that means we must do that much better, right?" she asked. Myri prayed that Decay was right and they would all come out of this..well if not alive, at least victorious.

Azunara and Kozri
Dalaran
Azunara looked at Myri's expression and mentally cursed. Yup. She made Myri worried. She gave a small smile back, hoping that maybe that would reassure her. "Yeah. We're tough and all of that, we'll probably be fine." She said. A small part of her was letting her know that was likely a lie, but she ignored it. Kozri was still asleep, completely undisturbed by the conversation that was happening next to him.

Glix and Karzix - Dalaran
Sitting around and waiting might be fine for Karzix, but it wasn't for Glix. After a few minutes had passed of her absently twiddling her thumbs, she slipped off of the seat and went for the door, deciding that some fresh air might clear her head. She paused as she passed by Kozri, Myri and Azu, pricking her ears as she heard the dranei and ghostly druid speaking. She cast Kozri a mildly curious look, wondering how he had managed to fall asleep with such a big battle ahead of them. She turned her attention back to the other two, hearing Azu say what sounded like an attempt at reassuring Myri. The goblin meandered her way over to the trio, glancing at their faces and trying to read their expressions.
"Hey," she simply said in a quiet voice. All she really was looking for was a distraction from the knot of nerves in her stomach and small talk seemed good enough for now.

Myri looked up a Glix and gave the goblin what she hoped was reassuring smile. She also hoped that Glix hadn't heard her conversation with Azu, the goblin looked worried enough as it was. "Hello Glix!" Myri greeted the goblin quietly, still not wanting to disturb Kozri. The huntress gave the mage what she hoped was a reassuring smile, before continuing "Where are you off to?"

"Oh, you know. Taking a sort of calming and rather short walk, trying not to panic, all that good stuff." Glix offered the draenei a weak smile. "You?"

Azunara and Kozri
Dalaran
Azunara decided that was they were talking about probably would make Glix panic further, so she laid down and kept quiet. She curled up, ears pricked as she waited for a command to go and debating how best to wake up Kozri when that time came without making him panic and try and stab someone. That would be bad. She knew from experience that you never wanted to surprise Kozri when he was sleeping. She still felt bad for the poor ghoul that did once.

Threnaad - Dalaran
Thren summoned a little water to him to get rid of the horse slobber drying on his face. Yech. He hoped SOB would be better behaved in the upcoming battle... or at least would turn his ire on some cultists. He reached to his drink and gulped down a mouthful, before looking down to Swift. He placed a hand on the fox's head and ruffled up his fur.
"Well, are you ready for this Blazefox?" He asked.

Myriana and Swift - Dalaran
The huntress gave Glix a smile. "About the same as a matter of fact. I am beginning to think that perhaps ale does not sound like a bad idea, if it weren't for the fact that I prefer to have all my wits about me." she tried to joke. "I hope you enjoy your walk," she said, not wanting to hold the goblin up. With that, Myri looked at the sleeping Kozri, and not wanting to disturb him, stood up and moved back over towards Thren and Swift.
Swift leaned into the pat a bit before pulling away and nodding confidently. He was born ready.

Little Mouse and Moony - Dalaran
Little Mouse looked down at Moony and sighed, before explaining the situation to him. "..so you've got to find that troll, ok? Think you can do that?" Moony flicked his ears to show he understood. "Good then.." Little Mouse trailed off as she noticed Threnaad being assaulted by several animals. That horse again, too. She shook her head. She'd like to teach him something, but likely she'd just get her toes stepped on and a headbutt in the stomach, based on what she'd seen.
Instead she walked over to Threnaad. "Quite a horse." she grinned. "I'm glad I'm not the stable keeper with him around."

Thren snorted back a chuckle at Little's observation.
"Well, at least you don't have to go into battle with the beast." He replied a little dryly. "At least he will have enemies to distract him somewhat."
He looked over to Myri, smiling weakly.
"And how about you. Prepared?" He asked.

Indigosa--Crystalsong/Dalaran
Indi rode silently on Umbra's back as they approached the crystal that would take them back to Dalaran, amused by the cat's seeming smugness. The death knight reached out to touch it, porting herself and Umbra back up to the city proper. She decided she would just let Umbra wander as she wanted, figuring the big cat would make her way back to the inn in her own time.

"It'll be okay." He whispered back. "Nothing will happen to you, I promise."

Umbra, back inside the city, meandered around over to the inn at a leisurely pace. She stopped at the stairs, pasing to look back at her new mistress.
