Am I the only one who just noticed we can use certain flight mounts in BGs now? It was because I learned this that I ALSO learned just how well Deth'tilac and the Armored Blue Windrider match <3

Hippogryphs, gryphons, wind-riders, roflcopters - those are the mounts that come to mind that are useable in BGs/Molten Front/Exodar/Silvermoon/Etc. etc. I'm sure there are more, but my mount collection isn't exactly huge.

Drakes are not however. I can't use Kozridormu, so I use Chaos instead.

They're also useable in dungeons where you can mount up. Hippogryphs bouncing around ZG ftw! OH, AND THEY CAN SWIM!
