Dear Deth'tilac,

I know in the beginning I hurt your feelings by saying 'I didn't really want you, but I'd take you if I saw you'. Since then, I've found myself checking again and again, hoping that you will show up. There's never a time I'm online when I don't find an excuse to check your spawn point, and I've even done the unthinkable for me: camping for two and a half hours one night, and two hours another night. Not a long camp by any stretch, but for me? That's a camp of an eternity.

Deth, I think you've managed to capture my fancy to the point that I can't get you out of my head. Would you please, be a dear and spawn for me some evening, so that I can take you home with me? I swear, the red spider I have with me right now isn't a keeper. He's just a willing helper who pulled me up to his ledge to have a talk with me about tactics. What a nice fellow!

Your brother came home ages ago, and is waiting for you to join him... so far I have sat more than 2 days worth of hours staring at that stupid yellow tree ... flapping on my hippogriff... putting out Ankha chow, Ankha treats, and big fluffy pillows...

I have watched as big blue Magria's went home with friends who had sat with me, and I even founf homes for a pair of the big blue lunkheads...

I *swear*; the kitty litter is fresh, the food is nummy and ample, the water cool and fresh, the toys all sniffy of spirit-beast-in-tiger-form nip, AND I give blood oath that you will not get a stupid name... honest. I will always try to keep your health up, and we will have fun running dailies... and at night you will snuggle in your bed, knowing you have been dearly hoped for and deeply loved as only a heaping panel of animated pixels in white/green spirit beast in tiger form can be.

There are literally 3 rares left that I want to tame. THREE. And you won't spawn for me, Deth, Loque and Ankha, will you?

I missed Deth by 10 seconds (Literally, I was about to tag and start the challenge when an Orc popped out of nowhere and took the tame. Lucky for her, I'm nice, and helped her tame it. *sigh*), Everytime I see Loque, he's always dead or dying, and I've been camping Ankha with no signs all day. I'm going nutty.

And just now some idiot Paladin killed Banny after a few hunters (me included) were situating their positions for the tames.

Less than a week of on-again, off-again, "well I guess the Storm Peaks are right over there, I can mosey on over" looking. I was about to go to bed, and didn't particularly want to look-- yeah, prime-time on a weekend is TOTALLY the least-camped time, I'm sure I'll have no problem finding Skoll now, as opposed to the 239472 other hunters who have extra time to be looking right now-- but I've tried to keep my approach "whenever I think of it, I need to go check." So hauled off to the Storm Peaks, spamming my /target macro (screw clearing my cache AGAIN, I'll be back in town ruining it in ten minutes anyways) and plowed through the various areas while I idly read the internet on my other monitor. Glanced back to make sure I wasn't running into a tree and-- wait, I have something targeted?

Good puppy.

(Follow-up heart attack was two minutes later, standing where I'd just grabbed him shrieking at my friends about EEEEE SKOLL, npcscan went off and told me to go get my too-bad-it's-not-a-TLPD consolation prize from Vyragosa. Okay, so I guess prime-time on a weekend IS the best time to Northrend rare-hunt. The More You Know.)
