Ankha Camp
Prior to date: I have been out here in Hyjal for a week or more now. I have lost count of the days since my arrival. I first arrived here in Hyjal because there was a call to all hunter’s that there are special beast's who decided to start showing themselves but unlike others, these could not be easily tamed. It would involve, cunning, agility, courage, patience, stealth, hope, luck, speed and some no armor. When I arrived into Hyjal I was greeted by one of the Druids from the Cenerion Circle. She informed me on everything she knew about this spirit beast cat name “Ankha”
“You must be quick, and no armor for if you do, they grow more powerful”
She showed me where to track this Ankha on my map. I nodded and got on my trusted flying mount and flew to where my camp would begin. There I sat where this Cat is said to show and waited. I had seen 4 Magira’s, who seems to show once in a while as well and found them homes. But Magira is not my target. No, it is Ahnka the white spirit cat.
July-9-2011 (days at the camp: Unknown)
I woke up at 10am today. No sign of Ankha, no hair no paw print. I don’t know how long I have been out here for being out here has seemed to make me forget all since of time. I see infernal beings who are minions of Rag running around but they leave me be. I wish I would see some sign of Ankha but none. A hunter friend of mine, Akzel and her loyal companion Sigyen showed up a few days ago to help me with the camp. She saw that I was starting to loose grip on reality, and came to my rescue to pull me back in. Other member's of my guild come and say hi and chat to help me in this camp. We have been out here watching…. Waiting.. we have made sacrifices of evil ones, food, anything we can think of but to no avail. I am starting to wonder if Ankha is testing me before she is willing to show herself to me. Only time will tell. Right now we sit amongst the trees, grass, flowers, rocks and Mother Nature in hope she will show herself soon before we succumb to the madness of camping.
So Now I sit.... Watching.... Waiting..
6 PM:
No sign of Ankha or Magira. Akzel and I have been chatting and hoeping Ankha will show soon. We have been talking to our fellow guildies about different things. We watch as we see other people run around klling the minions of Rag, trying to earn their rep. With no sign of either cat, we slowly start to loose hope. We cling on to the hope we have. Our friends and guildies give us luck in the camp. We can only hope soon we will get a sign of a cat showing soon.
I do wonder, is Ahnka testing me. Trying to see if i am worthy or even ready to have her as a companion and friend. I feel I am but only she will truely know.
Around 6:50pm:
As Akzel and I wait, we hear the flapping of wings and look up. It is none other then our friend Zexia a goblin hunter and his Scorpian, Dante. He lands and greets us witha hearty hello. We greet him and tell him of our camp. I show him the map in which has an X for where Ankha and Magira can spawn and red lines which show where they walk. They seem to stay to the top of the Regrowth, maybe they are protecting something. He nods and we all chat for a while with each other and our guild. The guild still rooting me on. Zex decides he and Dante will go and take over the second spawn point. As I watch him fly I think to myself,
" I love my guild and my friends. I hope Ankha shows soon."
7 PM:
I am checking out the ground, listening to the trees for any sign of Ankha. As i go to say something to the guild I hear something. I hear the light footsteps of a cat. I quickly look and behind a tree i see fient white. Silently like the night i move to the other side of the tree and there, was none other then Ankha. In hopes she would have me as a friend and companion I stair her in the eyes and she attacks.
Quick and fast were her attack but I took them. Finally they were slowing down and they came to a stop. Seeing eye to eye with the one they call Ankha. We stair into each others souls, communicating.. becomeing one. Finally she put her head down and nodded letting me know, we would be companions and friends from now till eternity..
my camp for Ahnka is now over, but the hunt is still one. We now go to banish our home from evil. i cannot thank my friends and guildies enough for all the help and courage. Before I left my spot i carved on the tree,
" Siliverin was here, through sweat, patience, hope and luck, the camp has ended. Much sanity was lost as was time."
I will always be in the shadows.... watching.....waiting....
Finally Home:
