What pets to roll with for arena (BM)

Ok for the start, always a good choice if your not rollin with a priest: silithid, gives the stam buff and a web, not the best web because it will break other CC if your partners are laying one out

Next is my personal favorite for my 2's since i roll with a warrior is a spirit beast, i dont know how many times that heal has saved me in a close call.

Next if your not with a Dk stacking necro's is a devilsaur, plus he gives a 5% crit which is always nice.

Also, dont forget your Corehound. Great agianst Double mage teams or any casters. The hero is basicly useless but hey all good.

Last but not least i carry a Shale spider because you cant beat the stat booster he has, and also he has a web also, but he is tenacity so not as much pressure being put out.

and the 5th i carry just a spider for when i go MM because face it, BM is better for 2's but when getting into %5's and 3's its a dps loss when your pet has to switch targets and he is halfway across the arena.

I prefer Spirit Beasts in almost every conceivable situation. The heal's quite powerful and the damage buff is the best in-game. If you're running with a feral they're covering the +5% Devilsaur crit anyway. Just be aware that Spirit Mend can be stolen/dispelled.

I prefer Ferocity pets in PvP due to the immense extra damage they buff you with and put out.

I like Cunning (Silithid, and the Chimaera which you haven't mentioned but which is superb in PvP) only when you have low resilience (for RoS), or are getting focused a lot and don't have much freedom to nuke. (Speaking of Silithids, you said their root breaks CC--how? I wasn't aware of this :S )

Shale Spider's Tenacity; BM's strength lies in heavy damage from both you and the pet, and Tenacity pets just don't have Ferocity damage (in particular you lose CotW and CtH). It's not worth the loss in damage to take the BoK imo, but that's just preference I guess.

I also think BM is just fine in arena, especially in 3s. You are missing MM silence + readiness, and yes your pet has to cross the arena if you switch onto a distant target. However, it makes up for it by the extra pressure/finishers you can put on someone who is out of LoS just with your pet, and BM is really hard to kill if properly played, along with putting out great burst.

If you're quick enough on the dismissal then having multiple spirit beasts works since their heals are not shared on a cooldown timer. .-.

OH, wow lol. I know that having multiple ones to dismiss/call another in case they're taking heavy damage is cool, but I didn't realize you could call for multiple heals O.o

That'll get nerfed I imagine >.>

That said, you'd have to risk summoning out several at low hp who could potentially get one-shotted, so I guess it's a tradeoff.
