i think blizzard needs help developing this game.

decided to do my new dailies in molten front. but first check the spawns. i run right around skitters spawn aggroing those annoying elementals. i get close to skarr and karkins spawn. i see something on a rock. i think at first it must be a pile of another players bones. as i move my mouse over the thing it shows me its karkin. now im stuck. i recently respecced my mm spec to not have silencing shot cos i was using a special spec for soloing firelands trash. i try anyways 2 seconds left on tame and im 1 shot. no worries this time i pop rapid fire and herbalism buff. but wait.

im at the widows clutch graveyard. i quickly run back up to where the green spider spawns. i jump onto the rock. oh no ghosts go right through them. i tried different things like running close to where i died and hitting return to graveyard. it just ports me right back to widows clutch -.- nice one blizzard, i wonder who slacked in the office when you made molten front.

so i am forced to spirit res. i run back fast to find 2 nelfs both with the crab as pets who lol at me. >.> .

I gotta agree that not being able to land on the rocks as a ghost is bogglingly stupid.

That same thing happened to me, I was trying to get to the rock to tame Kirix, got nervous and missed falling to my death. On my way back as a ghost I tried to jump on one of the rocks and fell right through it...as I'm trying to get back to my body to tame Kirix as fast as I can. I see no point in NOT being able to land on the rocks as a ghost, it's really inconvenient.

I think the name of this thread is unnecessarily rude.

That said, I'm sure it's a design limitation of the rocks not being "real floor" that prevents them from being resed on, not something that's intentionally been put in to grief players.

For what it's worth, you don't have to be on the rocks at all to tame Skarr/Karkin; you can tame from the mainland, so you should always be able to res.
