Pet names
For those of you that have multiple hunters...
If you tame a pet on both of your hunters, do you give them the same name or are the individual to each hunter and have their own names?

Re: Pet names
I don't ever tame the exact same pet on my hunters, since I never understood the point of making alts to tame the same pets as my main. However, I did at one stage have three red Madexxes (only one left now) on three different hunters, and they all had different names. I have a naming theme for all my hunters, so one hunter's pet names would never suit those of another.
Having said that, I did just rename my white condor Hathor, which was the bird's orginal name when it still belonged to Mozag's predecessor, before the race change. I didn't feel at all attached to her until I made the name change, but now I can see it's good ol' Hathor come back.

Re: Pet names
I don't often have repeat pets between my alts, but when I do they're completely separate personalities and therefore have their own names.

Re: Pet names
Same as Veph. I also tend to have naming themes for most of my characters (Dona has welsh names, Aela has spices, etc.), so same-naming doesn't really work.

Re: Pet names
Yes, my hunters all have different naming themes, but a couple of my sillier ones have alcohol and food names, so I ended up with two different hyenas named Rye (whiskey and bread), as a play on wry.
I'm more likely to have two different skins from the same family on one hunter with the same name, while I'm trying to decide between the two of them.

Re: Pet names
This, with a few exceptions. Dante is Dante. Chitter is Chitter. Chatter is Chatter (although he is also Orpheus - yes, I have three). All other duplicates are different; I made sure not to tame the exact same NPC for them.Vephriel wrote:I don't often have repeat pets between my alts, but when I do they're completely separate personalities and therefore have their own names.
