Then I stumbled across Deth'Tilac on my BE, managed to pull off the tame (covered elsewhere), and told myself "Ok, NOW I'm done with these guys. I'll just take a break and play my dwarf for a bit..."
Not a half hour later I'm on my dwarf Bofors, and stumble across Solix. This time however I hadn't done my homework and so Solix ran out of energy and I found myself the unhappy owner of a crystalline tear...
Since then I got stuck on the idea of getting the orange spider, and like a true obsessive / compulsive, proceeded to park Bofors outside the cave and check periodically ... got a hit on /target but in the time it took to get down the slope and into the cave, a hunter / pally duo were there ahead of me. So I went ahead and moved Bofors right next to Solix' spawning pool.
Days went by and now people were running dailies in the cave, so I figured there was no way I'd ever see him again, but I am stubborn if nothing else, so I stuck it out.... and finally, late last night I logged in to find him there! In a funny sort of way I think the Igneus Depths dailies actually worked in my favor because everyone was too distracted to notice an orange spider 3/4 submerged in lava...
Now if only they could give lava tarantulae a touchup - the new spider is making Slag look shabby..
