Looking for names to match--

-- Skarr :3 im looking for rock/gem names but anything you think will work, and they can be as absurd as you want, im looking for all sorts of names for her (Skarr is female to me hehe)



Im changing my skin color to match her better so im not gonna be red-brown/grey-blue like in the pic

She seems to have a tint to her, i cant really say the color (looks kinda like a stale green.... yea i have no idea), all i know is that i already knew this gem cat wasnt a pure black color with a shiny gloss


Edit: Ive gone back to my original black (with blue tones) fur color

Hmmm, ive always loved Obsidium and Onyx-- im gonna have to do some googling when im fully awake haha, thank you for the suggestions!

Chalcedony and Heliotrope are rather pretty gem names that could fit. Rock names... Shale, Serpentine, or Skarn (which is actually pretty nifty to me since it's so close to Skarr)?

And some non-gem/rock suggestions are Alchemy and Onycha (derived from the same origins as the word onyx).

I'm probably no help, but. :P I try! And grats on taming Skarr, too!

I named mine Raoden, after a book character who ends up with metallic shimmering skin similar to Skarr's. I thought of naming him Dalamar, after a black robed mage with shiny black hair from another book series I love, but I thought Raoden fit better since he was more metallic looking than just shiny fur.
