Is ban untrappable? (Either way I got him. Without traps :3)

I've been trying to trap, with no results...

((Still no results with traps, but I DID get the glow-birdy

He can be trapped, least, he was able to both times i saw him alive o.O

He is trappable. You need to trap him IN the tree, not in the air.

Yea, he flies too high for you to be sitting on the tree so you gotta fly upwards a bit, wait for him to come into range, pull him, then when you land drop the trap, he will or at least -should- land in it, he had done so just before his moonfire burned me to death

If anyone is wondering how, it was due to the help of a wondeful hunter who allowed Ban to kill her for my sake XD

She took the first Harsh Moonlight cast for me (Like a pro, I might add), then I hit the tame button (After establishing SOME aggro, in the form of an arc shot). He didn't cast Harsh Moonlight again till the last few seconds, but my health held out XD

I had no trouble setting a trap at the top of the tree, then mounting up, and getting to his level, acrane shot, fall, land in tree, hit tame. He came in, got trapped and tame went off perfectly.

1. Set trap on tree.
2. Fly up and hover til in range
3. Shoot at him and drop down
4. Tame
5. Profit!

Grats on Banny!!! Lol yea i had a friend pro-suicide on my behalf to bring him down

tamed right infront of several onlookers who were just sitting there at the sanctuary
