Finally got Skarr :)

After many,many days of camping and a broken heart when the one time i had seen him spawn he was stolen by an ally hunter (i'm ally to)...I caught him. So now i can get a good night sleep for once. Funny thing is i had an ally hunter griefing me just minutes before he popped. Said hunter kept pulling out his skarr
and placing him on the rock he spawns on and then turns to look at me. Even funnier still is Kirix popped a few minutes before skarr so all the other hunters (there where a few) where busy looking at the BIG green spider to even notice skarr had spawned.

Skarr tamed 12:20 am servertime Silverhand (I named him after the Great hunter friend i have made while camping for skarr so long)
Kirix tamed 12:50 am server time Silverhand (not by me of course spiders are ewwwy...except for Jadefang

P.S. I spent 8 hours waiting for him today. The crab spawned right in front of me earlier when me and a guild mate where talking but since i have him told my guild mate he could have a go at him (and he did and got him). I was determined to wait until skarr or the crab spawned again and i am so happy i did.

Congrats on your tame! I just tamed mine Thursday. I had given up because the one Skarr I saw spawn since 4.2 release was taken by another horde and it was just Karkins before that. Then I lost internet from Monday til Thursday, so when I logged on I figured, what the hell, he won't be there since it's noon but let's check. I jump to the first set of rocks and nothing. No one is around. I figure I might as well check the second spot just in case and there's a red dot; it's him! I run over, tame goes perfect and I only lose 10k health. Was so excited. Not 5 seconds later an ally hunter logs onto that very spot. Still can't believe I got him so easily.
