This stupid new "smart" logging shit from blizzard is NOT smart at all.. I used my cell phone's data connection to connect to wow and it ask me for my pass and auth code..I hit ok and it STILL forced a password reset..Screw you blizzard.

I almost wet myself...I have my window open halfway in my room (basement) and heard one the loudest cracks of Thunder I've hear in a long time.. It sounded close and I wonder if it was lighting striking something close by..Made me jump!

Awww, Veph, I'm sorry for the allergy aggro. I hope you feel better soon! Or, at least feel like you're head isn't going to explode...

You know, as much as I enjoy this game, I see it just as that: A game. Nothing more, nothing less. So excuse me if I decide to grind rep from two expansions ago, or not have the Bow from ZG, or want to do classic raids. I don't HAVE to do top tier shit if it doesn't appease to me right now. Some people take this game WAY TO SERIOUSLY. Bugger off!

Freaking little flying node hoover. The next bird form druid who chews me out about getting an herb before him is going to get his wee grabbing talonses whacked off and stuffed in his beak. And yes. It was the same druid who had been snagging herbs while people picked them because his pick goes faster. I'm sorry I didn't let you take it because I killed the mob by it I guess?

Oh, and don't you dare complain to me about being 'underpowered' and that's how I got the node first. Druids have 4, /4/ viable raid roles, none of which get chuckled at. So cry me more little tears you itty bitty node vulture.

Long post ahead! (And it's really not important or really a rant, just me musing on things, I suppose.)

It seems I never will understand people.

It’s like the world is full of Gryffindors who think I’m sweet, kind, and romantic. I’ve been called all these things many times before, yet only now has it hit me just how often I get told them.

The words I would use to describe myself, however, never seem to come into play, I know for a fact that I am manipulative, irritable, annoying, defensive, needy, insatiable, desperate, and sarcastic. In fact, if I could only use two words to describe myself, you only have to look at the beginning of that list to see them: manipulative and irritable.

I suppose I am also rather attractive, imaginative, understanding, impulsive, impish, and have more brains than your average idiot. And I would like to count manipulative amongst the good traits as well, though I suppose some out there might be offended by that.

I am cooly polite, though somehow people often mistake coolness for warmth. I take what I want from people and then throw them out the door. There may be a smile on my face, but a sneer or a smirk is just as likely to show, depending on the company I am keeping.

I don’t think I have a romantic bone in my body, though I do try. More often, my desperate, needy attempts for attention seem to show themselves in ways that come across as romantic. They are not. They are simply selfish things I do. I am, at heart, a rather selfish person.

Sometimes I just don’t know what to do with myself. I grew up thinking that Snape was the coolest person in the entire world and, as soon as I finished reading the first book for the first time, adopted him as my primary role model. I am sarcastic but not witty. I am manipulative enough that people take years to realize that they have been manipulated. I take joy in those manipulations, joy and pride. But there is also shame.

I do wonder, though. Will there ever come a time when I can understand all these Gryffindors I seem to be surrounded by? For all that I admire the brave and romantic natures of the Gryffindors, I understand the natures of my fellow Slytherins far better.

Some rants:

1. If you see a hunter camping a rare spawn point, please don't drop by just to a.) ask why he doesn't have something better to do, b.) claim you're going to kill the spawn if it pops, c.) /laugh or d.) challenge the hunter to duels he's not interested in.

2. Yes, maybe you know more lore than I do, V, but that gives you no right to make me feel like I have to run every single character that wants to join my guild past you so that you won't whine at me later because you don't know them. You -were- in the guild which means your opinion -did- matter. You -left- because you wanted to join a raiding guild. That's not my concern, but running my guild is. If I feel the character has a decent background, then that's my choice, not yours. And stop reading my damn story Livejournal, then whining to me after because you didn't agree with one flipping detail in it!

3. My chair is not a jungle gym. I'm thrilled if the twins want to sit in it with me and 'help' me play, but climbing on the back and jumping off, or climbing on the back and then yanking my hair, these aren't acceptable and will get them both banned from my chair.

4. A high pitched voice does -not- make me female! Stop calling me 'she' on Vent just because you can't get that through your head or else I'm going to send you a picture of my hairy, ugly groin to prove you wrong!

Players who stack on NPCs - flagged or otherwise.

Really is it so hard to stop near the NPC like you (hopefully) would with another person... instead of on it?

Having to float the camera around to find a patch of the poor NPC's body you haven't managed to cover gets a bit annoying... especially when a few of you are doing the same thing.

The NPC's like you, sure, but not THAT much. Remember - Personal Space is even more important than normal in a world without toothpaste or deodorant...

People who join RP servers with little to no knowledge of lore and don't bother to learn under the guise of "I play how I want!".

I'm all for taking newbies under my wing to show them the ropes and share some stories to get them started - but when you're going to put your feet down and say "No way, I wanna play a DK half-high elf half-Draenei princess who was Arthas' best friend and Tirion's lover and childhood rivals with King Varian and Alexstrazsa!" I'm going to mock you. Maybe not directly, but you will be mocked at some point in time, and there's a good chance someone else will point it out a little less nicely. You play on a RP server, you play by our rules, which are surprisingly flexible when you're not violating the Lore with a sharp stick.

In general, you're probably going to do a lot better if your character is not such a Mary Sue special snowflake. They should start out as reasonably ordinary! Same with any other kind of roleplay, really; characters should start out as fairly normal individuals for their kind. This applies to tabletop, live-action roleplay, online, whatever.

Yeah, best to start small, play something simple and safe before you start going on to the more complex characters. And just like it's never okay to pair fan characters with canon characters, don't tie your character's backstory with one of a major lore character - make your own history, don't ride the coattails of someone else. :P

I stumbled on Rak'shiri on one of my hunters a while ago. I couldn't tame him, so I figured I'd kill him - until I saw another hunter wandering around. She stopped and looked at Rak, who then snuck up on me while I was staring idly off into the distance. I saw the hunter put down traps and put her pet away and start crying on me, so I dismissed my pet and feigned. And the hunter proceeded to kill Rak.

I'm not sure if I should be annoyed that I fell for it, or annoyed that I missed out on loot and exp because I know how much it sucks to miss a tame that way. I have to give the Rak-slayer credit though, that's pretty sneaky.

I hate blizzard maintenance

I hate blizzard that they removed mana from hunters

I hate blizzard that they removed volley

I hate blizzard that hunter can't use ranged spells like other ranged dps classes

I hate blizzard for being greedy and want to make money out of digital pets and mounts

I hate blizzard that can't make a good server for voice chat and we have to use vent instead

I hate blizzard when they said we are going to add new dances in wrath of the lich king and now 2 years passed from that day and they even removed any archive about this promise

I hate blizzard when they say soon tm

I hate blizzard when they canceled starcraft ghost project but they didn't say anything about it and they just removed any archive they had about it

I hate blizzard that they release wotlk , cata , starcraft2 , after they announce that they are working for diablo3 but there is no trace of release date for that game yet . . .

I just hate blizzard when I had to run up to lvl 40 and then I could buy 60% mount for so expensive amount and then at lvl 60 I could buy 100% mount for even more expensive . but now ? . . .
I hate how I had pain to level up and was nice to being lvl 60 but these days people just rap and go lvl 80 in just 3 day or less

I hate my self that I Can't overcome the addiction to wow .
