This seems like the best place to put it, but there's a room in Dire Maul(with the big core hound 'demon' boss) and pathing in there is agonizing. The last of my hunters to go through there was Marks, thankfully, but it's especially awful to have your pet following you perfectly until you shoot something, and then it pops dash and...stands there. According to the rest of the group the same issue was there with warlock/mage pets and the warrior's charge as well, so it's not an assist issue, but it's still worth noting.

As for assist, I haven't had that huge of an issue with it, honestly, but I'm worried it'll be more apparent as I go on in level(working on an alt for the most part). I did notice some odd behavior while doing Ahune - Spider(Karoma) went suicidal and would ping back and forth from a mob to the big guy himself and consequently died repeatedly despite me going "NO BAD DOG ATTACK THAT, ATTACK THAT" and I eventually had to put her on passive and send her in the old fashioned way - but I haven't done any dungeons past that and I've been leveling archaeology on my main, so most of my combat has been versus things I can probably melee to death anyway. :P

This. I kicked Davarra back to Surv/BM since I wasn't feelin' it for Marks atm and I've been having gobs of fun in Zandoms playing with Misdirect and Serpent Sting/Spread. The tank is swimming in threat after the Multi hits, and my numbers are staying shiny, even once Madexx started tugging at my pants leg and asking for a chance to come play since he hadn't been out in a while and was getting bored.

Its sooo frustrating that they broke something completly perfect.

I used to fight against multiple mobs in this way:
Use old defensive stance. Shoot one or more mobs with misdirection. My pet rushes in and starts fighting. When the fight looks good I add more mobs with MD to the fight. My pet takes on a new attacker after one is dead. From time to time I finish off some, heal my pet and add more mobs with MD. After there is no more mobs near i finish off the rest, loot, skin, move on.

Now its not possible anymore. Pet runs back to me in the middle of fight, bringing all mobs with it. Or runs to those i will just add to the fight, getting stunned from behind. Basically its now running around most of the time instad of fighting.
Attack Command seems to be overridden by whatever I do.

Has anyone a solution how to do this kind of fight with the new stances? Maybe with macros?
