Hey everyone, First post on these forums, i only just signed up, but have been using this website on and off since BC.
Just wanted to share some of my stories regarding the new 4.2 rare tames!

First of all, so far i have managed to tame 3 of the 5 spiders. (Solix, Kirix, and Skitterflame)
And the 2 metalliac looking pets on Fireplume Peak (Skarr and Karkin) Only just got Skarr today actually!

Also wanted to share my heart ache involving Deth'tilac, As i have read some of the people on these forums have too!
So i figured if anybody would understand it would be the nice people on these forums.

Twice now i have had Deth'tilic down to the 20% mark, Twice he has ended up "Belly up"

First time i got got down to 20% and a few melee joined the fight and got 1 shotted Funny now, but not so at the time ... others who were helping said "wtf no loot?"
I also like a noob forgot to revive/dismiss pet, before i tried to tame, so really, my own fault.

Second time, using my Eagle vision from the Skarr/Karkin spawn i could see that Deth had spawned. I quickly ran over, and sat there for a minute or so, to make sure no other hunters were about, incase they were there before me, No one there though and i thought to myself good Kited him around a bit, only for him to de-spawn :/ so i ran back and another hunter was there, i waited another minute or so, but no movement, so i tried again.
This time i kited him properly, Done everything right, had people join in the fight to help burn him down, sacrifices etc, Only for the hunter at 20% to take aggro and try and tame pet ...
The next 20% is an aggro war between me and the other hunter untill he sacrifices himself at 10% ... Afterwards he /w me saying "if i cant tame him ... i kill him"

Real sportmanlike ... :/

So now i am camping his spawn ... again ... 12 hours and counting ...

EDIT ** Deth was caught this morning at 4am UK time. More just so people know he wont spawn soon kind of thing

Gratz on your tames, Im sorry to hear about Deth and gl on getting him, and Welcome to the forums

Deth, while not the hardest to tame (that honor goes to Solix for me), he is certainly the most irritating and griefable. So many people try and either kill him or tame him for themselves before the hunter who camped him for hours on end can do it. I have seen Deth "belly up" way too much for my liking. I only got him by being on really late at night with the help of a warlock dpsing him down for me while I ran around like nutcase kiting him.
