Banny and Mag, same day ^-^ (imagish heavy)

Well, lets start with Mag first,
So, I was actually helping a guildie with quests, and after we were done, I had this feeling, some rare was in the regrowth. I figured if it was Ankha again, I would pst a local hunter. Well, hearthing to SW, and going to portal to hyjal, I keep thinking, something is there, something is there. Turning the camera down, I see this blue blob. instantly, I removed all armor, and dove in for the tame. After taming, I go to Sanctuary of Malorne to pick up the dailies. After coming back to repair (I am on a pvp server, and died a lot) I saw this little yellow dot on the mini-map. Thinking it was Obsidium, I moused over it. Yeah, it wasn't Obsidium....it was Banny. Thinking suddenly: Oh crap I called in the only thing that would work....my mage friend. He shot it down, slow falled. I was so exited, I didn't even had time to click ice trap. Harsh Moonlight got me down to around 25% and then stopped for some reason. Suddenly, just before tame went through, a pally came and attacked. Then, luck was on my side, tame went through, and BOOM, two spiffy new beasts ^-^ and just a few days ago, I got Ankha.

These rares seem to spawn very shortly after one another. I got my Ankha two hours after I got my Banny. Or the other way round. I can't remember. I just know it was in a very short time span and I was elated.

@Sarantha, Yeah, I have seen that they are really close timers. I tamed Ankha, and saw Banny being tamed just after.
So they might be related...

I'll agree on the timers being somehow close-- when I was camping Ankha, I remember seeing Magria spawn about 1 hour or so after Banny would spawn... and when I was lucky enough to tame Banny, an hour later I got Ankha.

I just wish there was some way to find out the last spawn of something; it'd let you figure if it was worth sitting camp or going and doing something else.

I usually ask around and find out the general time it spawned. Most of the time, SOMEONE knows. If they don't, I don't waste my time and just do dailies until 11pm or so, which seems to be peak rare spawn time on my server. Also, most of the alliance children are in bed by then, so I do not have as much immature griefers trying to kill the mobs for shits n giggles.

(I am not bashing alliance, as I said before. It just so happens that alliance is mostly children on my server, with a few exceptions. On some servers, it is horde that is mostly children, so please don't take my alliance bashing to heart.)

All joking aside, I honestly think they are NOT related. They have very similar spawn timer ranges (if not the same range) so with variation and average timers, it tends to form what we see as paterns. For example, Deth has a habit of spawning between 6-8 PM on my server for the last week. It's not always going to be that way, but with the way the timers work, it happens to get into a small rhythm every so often.

@Arisia: If Blizz ever DOES get that idea, I hope to god they enable it soon. It would help me with Deth/Skarr, and a lot of other hunters with Banny and the spirit cat twins (I call them that now, because they really do look like twins) when looking for tames.

@Sarantha: I do agree, that alliance tends to have more minors than the horde in some cases. It just depends which server you are on, as well. And in Wrath, I actually helped over 20 hunters get Loque, so asking around is a good idea as well.

@Gimlion: Also, it might vary between servers. As in the past 3 days (I actually was hunting for Mag those days) Every time Ankha or Mag were up, Banny was normally up the next 2 minutes (when I tamed Ankha) too the next half hour (when I tamed Banny today). I have yet to find deth yet, so I don't know about him.
