I chose Shadow Wardens simply because they look awesome. It turned out to be the right choice, cuz they have extremely easy dailies and really awesome dialogue. I love the assassin talk.
Part of Dark Magics, lvl 25 Horde guild, casual, helpful, don't raid, mostly help people and hunt pets.
Part of Dynasty, lvl 25 Alliance guild, casual and hardcore (your choice, no one forces you to raid, but you can), very helpful
Come on over if interested (Runetotem US, Horde name Sarantha, Ally name Ellysetta or Valeraud)

I think Druids are a ton more fun, but man, do they take a lot longer! It seems like there are a lot more quests too, but maybe that's just me. Wardens are boring but take a very short time.

From what I've read so far this seems to be the gist of it, as described by fans of both groups.LupisDarkmoon wrote:I think Druids are a ton more fun, but man, do they take a lot longer! The reason I'm concerned with making an informed choice re: my group, is that once I've chosen who to bribe first (druids, wardens), I'll have another (525?) marks to go before I get my bird in the mail, so I want to position myself for the long haul.
In other words, you can pick one of the two and use that to grind the rest of the way - your only involvement with the other group seems to be that you get them their 150 marks. But they don't care whether you earn those 150 marks by working for them or for the other group... right?

You will want to do the dailies at least once with both factions, as they both unlock new quests.Worba wrote:In other words, you can pick one of the two and use that to grind the rest of the way - your only involvement with the other group seems to be that you get them their 150 marks.

Ok, good to know - but do you know how many marks that earns you (from the initial run)?

Wardens are much faster and easier to do. I hate the talon ones...why? the damn hatchling quest.

Druids > Wardens. Very easy decision on my part.
Not only for the Bombing quest (Which is *also* needed if your an achievement junkie), but falling and having my butt saved mid-air...having a nice clean run through of the fire when your running to go grab a rare spawn...they just have alot more perks really when it comes to being a Hunter.
