How to clear your WoW Game Cache
1. Open your WoW install directory (Default Location: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft)
2. Open the Cache folder
3. Delete the WDB folder and everything inside of it
4. Start WoW
Cross your fingers that you don't immediately run into a tamed version of what you're after and have to repeat the process again.

You can also just delete the entire Cache folder. As soon as you launch WoW again, it creates a new one.

Re: NPCScan Cache Clearing
Exit Warcraft completely if you're in game; or if you aren't even in game go to your Warcraft Folder...
Warcraft
• Cache
• • WDB
• • • enUS
(or EU varying on where you're at)
Delete the following files:
- creaturecache.wdb
- npccache.wdb
Your Cache for Npc_Scan is now reset, log into Warcraft.

Re: NPCScan Cache Clearing
That's exactly what I do. In fact, to make addons and cache clearing even easier, I have an addon folder on my desktop, and... wait for it, now have the WoW folder on my desktop. No more searching through explorer to find the cache folder and th einterface folder. Works like a charm.Gimlion wrote:You can also just delete the entire Cache folder. Eh, my WoW folder is directly under My Documents, so it's not that hard for me to find
