Helped a worgen hunter tame Solix today! I'm not sure he intended to pull him, but pull him he did! I immediately went into survival mode and started conc shotting and dropping traps and such. The worgen ended up taming him OUTSIDE THE CAVE - definitely the first time I've seen that. I actually managed to capture a pic as Solix was shrinking! Pretty amazing. I do hope they end up happy together; this tame certainly felt like fate from a third person standpoint!

I'm glad he tamed it as well....we searched for quite some time trying to find Solix a home! I was a little weary though when you were asked if it was the 'white spider'

Now finally Morga got to leave his tree. I'd been camping Banny with him on and off since 4.2. release and always was too late and he was dead or tamed. Findu got her Banny by luck, while Morga was camping the cats. After I tamed both with him (pictures of Nahimana and Amitola are somewhere back in here) I parked him again in the tree. ALWAYS when I logged in I saw at least two other hunters sitting under/in me, one Worgen and one Nelf. I didn't logg in to Wow yesterday after university and played some browser game.
I was about to shut down my coumputer to get dinner ready when I got that itchy feeling that some rare was up. I was hoping for Magria, so Findu could complete her collection, but no Magria or even an Ankha to be seen. I decide to look over to Banny with her and see a yellow dot circling peacfully (and no it was not a druid, I'd always gotten the panics, although druids are a slightly paler yellow). I hit logg out button with Findu to switch to Morga. Never before 20 seconds seemed to last SO long. Finally I see Morga appear on my screen and hit "enter world" - the blue almost seemed to creep from left to right.
Then Morga appeares in front of me on top of "his" tree. Banny is still there. I lay my trap, mount fly up, wait for him to come close, hit him with arcane shot, fall back to my tree (about 70% of life left), press tame beast and watch Banny coming down to me. He ignores my freezing trap and fires me to death. I release my spirit (why is this stupid graveyard so far away?) return, rezz, try to land on the dang tree again, fail and fall to death ('cause I hadn't bandaged me in my hurry) - *sigh* same thing again. I rezz again, mount up and try to land again. Other people now have registered Banny and follow him on their mounts, but seem to leave him alone. I see the worgen hunter standing on top of the mountain behind the tree and hope it's not too close for him to be able to snatch the tame from me.
I finally manage to land on the tree. Put down my trap again. Fly up again, hit him again. Morga lands perfectly on the tree - I hit tame and Banny lands in my trap. The rest of the tame finished smoothly. The worgen didn't seem to be able to reach him from the mountain, mounts and flies off. Nobody cheers me, but I don't get any nasty macros as well (like Findu received a /spit from a stupid dwarf pally who had tried to kill Banny). In my hurry I totally forgot to take any screenshots from my tame, but I took two afterwards.

Oh yeah, Rox, I figured out that he meant Deth when he said "white" spider. I can actually see that one, since Deth's legs ARE somewhat white at the tips. Thanks again for finding Solix in the first place!

Thanks to a lovely Alliance hunter who, even through difficult communication, helped me tame it, a sacrificial guildie and a boyfriend keeping me somewhat calm.

I made a post before 4.2 hit asking whether or not I should replace my Karoma with Ankha (I had a one pet per family rule that I was trying to follow for the sake of variety). I was on the fence about it for a while, but had finally decided that I would just keep my Karoma and not bother with the new spirit cat. Well, after doing my dailies about a week ago I logged out... and when I logged back in the next day, Ankha was directly beneath me. >.< I took it as a sign, broke my rule, and Deadmaw has joined me as the second spirit beast in my stable.

I swore not to do it... But here I am.

First, there was Kirix. He was the only one I wanted at that time.


Next, I saw Solix up and even after waiting for a while, no one was going for him.. So I caved and did it myself. Apparently I was unimpressed by him, so didn't even take any screenies of him.

Today, Deth'tilac was up and all alone in his corner. Since I'd already tamed Solix, I figured I might as well Collect em All, so I went for it. The tame went perfectly on first try, and I didn't have anyone to try to interrupt me.

I'm afraid to post in a thread that mods post in now....but I must say, those are gorgeous images and congrats on all your tames. I wish I could stay around longer to see even more gorgeous tames and show of a few of my own unique tames (such as oily-wolf, who has yet to be named, and my future Aotona who will be named Sigyn, if I ever see her gorgeous body).

Flew around with Ban'Thalos before crumpling and deciding to tame.



Taking Solix to meet... Solix! Rescued from a group of mages. Solix has since been abandoned due to the panic during Deth's tame though. Didn't want to risk reviving him for fear of Deth being stolen. Miss him.



Skarr, another accidental tame in a deserted Molten Front. I found the kitten and left him be after poking him and hunting for hunters to no avail. Alas, a warrior wanted to kill it, he died and I sneakily rescued the poor thing. Don't like folk needlessly killing the rares. Struggling to decide whether to keep or not- Skarr wasn't a pet I was after!



The urge to tame Kirix grows every time I watch a rampage. Must... Resist-!
