A cat I rarely hear/read about: Pogeyan

Unread post by Sukurachi »

I find it odd I rarely see this cat anywhere. I think this week is the first time I've met anyone on my server who had him.

I was actually shocked to realize how low-level he was! This cat is incredibly beautiful. I don't think any pictures can truly do him justice. The full "effect" of his rather unique skin is only really visible when he moves.

I got my baby huntress, Animale, out to Stranglethorn as soon as I could, and she now has this beauty, named Ambre.

I'm actually really happy that they've given hunters some beautiful low-level skins to tame along with all the amazing new "challenge" tames.

I agree about Pogeyan. She's one of my absolute favorite cats because of how unique she is and how she stands out. Congrats on your tame!

I honestly thought it was the ugliest thing when I saw a still shot of it on Petopia. But you are right it does not do it justice.

I was impressed enough with him that my three low level alts each have Valentine, Hex and Midas, my three Poges.

I've seen Pogie quite a bit on FM. I'm surprised, but it is a lovely cat.

I don't see it often on Thrall-US, but thats anecdotal at best. I do like how they added these to Stranglethorn, I hope they do stuff like that in the future, its cool.

I love the shine effect, I just dont like the hunched cat. I only got skarr because I enjoy the skin so much. However their yawn is... weird, to say the least, and when they run, their head tilts like they have an inner ear infection.

Ambre is a great name for that cat, I am so jealous of some of the names you guys come up with.

He's one of the three cat skins I have tamed right now :P

Loque, Poge and Ankha.

I think he's better looking than Skarr, honestly.

thank-you.
it's just French for Amber... I thought his colour sort of had that caramel/amber look. It goes with "Animale", who's my lowby Huntress. French for, well.. it's obvious.

Oh, I didn't know about this one! I shall have to find it and see if I like it "in person".

Yes, this is the one thing about the model that I really find irritating.

While this feature of the Grimtotem Spirit Guide wasn't exactly intended... - it will still be possible in future for everyone who wishes to tame this NPC to do so
