The bad day..

Wow what an awful day to be a hunter for me. To start off, my leveling seems to be going really slow from 70-80, it seems like I have been taking forever, while all my buddies are having good times at 85. I decided to do some camping for Arcturis, while there I was ganked non stop by an 85 troll hunter, I couldn't even get my toon revived. Finally he left, and because of all the running around to my corpse, I didn't see if he tamed it or not. I waited a straight hour, then my game crashed to a blue screen, restarting my computer. I took a break looking up fixes (still haven't found one) I decided I'd camp him for 30 more minutes, while checking some other things, having WoW minimized, another hunter messaged me. It said: "Are you looking for any rares" "Yes" "Well sorry, but I just tamed the spirit beast bear" I sighed, signed off only to find that my brother's car had broken down, and I went to pick him up. After hours of talking about the car, I signed back on WoW, making it crash a couple times to that damn blue screen. I took some time to level to 76 for Loque & maybe some Krush action too. It crashed many more times, making me uber angry. Finally finishing a instance without a crash I was suprised by a very good Polearm. I was the only one who needed, and one guy left without rolling, so I left thinking I'd just get the weapon. But, no..Hopefully I'll get some tame's and good news tommorrow, but for the last week...this has been my hunter life. :/

Im sorry for your bad day. As a horde hunter I will never gank another hunter allready camping a rare, I just come back...I figure that if they tame it there is one less to compete with looking for it...besides I know how horrible it is to camp for months then have the other faction gank you and tame it.

I JUST got this beauty on my husbands hunter for him, I will "talk" to my bear and tell him to send a brother/sister your way hope it works...I did it for a guild mate and that week they found and tamed him after months of camping.

Wow, I'm sorry you've been having such a bad day.. *hugs* It seems like today has been rotten for a lot of people. :/ I hope things will go better for you off the game as well as on the game.

Finally finishing a instance without a crash I was suprised by a very good Polearm. I was the only one who needed, and one guy left without rolling, so I left thinking I'd just get the weapon. But, no..

Ugh. I've had similar experiences - seems like when someone wanders off or otherwise never gets around to rolling on an item, it waits for an eternity, and you have to be extra careful or it will be taken away even though you won the roll - not even a warning message like "A loot roll is in progress - leaving the group will forfeit your stake. Proceed (Y / N)?"
